    Love arlo and this is the second one I have …I did have a problem with the wired only one and returned it for the combo unit. Battery works if power goes off.

    It is ok however it needs more improvements and it glitches very often the only good thing is that there are no subscriptions compared to the other doorbell cams

    Clear pictures day and night. The instructions for setting it up lack a lot of info. Can’t even find it on the website and not every customer service person knows the ins and outs of the device.

    We love this doorbell. It has the best quality camera I have seen in any cameras that are wireless and for the price. Its super simple to set up and install and the range of view is amazing!

    Really good camera with speaker but doesn’t come with the ringer but can be wirily connected to your old doorbell ringer. If not you have to buy the ringer for $50.00

    I love it except the let when I constantly get alerts because my kids play out front too much and I can’t turn them off unless I remove the battery. Also battery life is great.

    Replaced a 5 year old video doorbell with this one. Honestly, the hardest part was drilling the holes in the wall. App and doorbell setup was easy.

    This is a pretty good addition to home security--even if you don't have an alarm system. THE GOOD ~ Pretty good fisheye camera ~ Wide field of view ~ Programmable messages ~ motion detection alerts ~ Can link multiple doorbells THE BAD ~ kind of big ~ Not sure about battery life (See below) THE MEH! (Could go either way) ~ Requires subscription ~ Kind of big ~ Instructions OVERALL Overall, I would give this 4.5 stars, but since there is no half-star, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and the extra half. I honestly don't know what I was expecting, but I was surprised by the size of the doorbell. I think I was expecting something a little less clunky. Despite that, where it is mounted on my wall, it works just fine. I'm not sure how long the rechargeable battery lasts. When I got this, it was Christmas time. I charged the battery, but couldn't hang to doorbell due to decorations. A couple weeks later, I went to mount it and the batter was dead. I hope it will last much longer than a couple weeks at a time. My expectations (realistic or not) are it should last months...we'll see. Set up was relatively easy. However, there was a skipped step or something in the instructions on the App. After it says to install the battery, it instructs you to pair with your phone. After a few minutes of waiting, the pairing failed. When I tried again, I put the back onto the device and it paired very quickly. I like that I get alerts for activity at and near my door. The camera takes and saves small videos I can check to see who is there or what is going on. This is great if you are expecting a package or know one has been delivered, because anyone who tries to steal it will be caught on video. I didn't expect it to require a subscription. I may have missed that part. it's only a few bucks a month. Honestly, I think it is worth that. Even if you add multiple cameras, it is less than one cup of Starbucks a month. :) Places this would be perfect: ~ If you have had packages/mail stolen ~ Stuff stolen from back patio ~ You live in a highly populated area where things may be stolen ~ High crime areas where someone may break in ~ Kids coming home from school All of these will be covered by the camera. Put one up front and one out back and you can leave your house feeling secure. If you're out of town and someone breaks in, you'll know. If you're like many parents and have young kids coming home from school alone, this is great. You'll get an alert and video confirmation when they get safely home.

    Happy with the product. Not a fan of the subscription to record. Batter lasts on average 3 months.

    Easy to set up and the app is user-friendly. I always get notifications when someone is at my door and being able to see who it is; using the Arlo app. Video Quality and audio are very good.

    After less then 2 years it works better then it's camera family. The only issues I have is. 1. the is a considerable delay between the time the button is pushed and I am contacted on my cell phone & I am in the house. 2. There is no "live" person to contact, only "Communities". Customer service is a joke at best.

If you're not receiving your phone call notifications properly, try to move your cameras closer to the Base Station/SmartHub/router or move your Base Station/SmartHub away from the router. A slight delay is normal behavior because the video is being analyzed by the Arlo Cloud service.For further help, navigate to Settings > Support in the Arlo App for service options available to you.

    Could not get this doorbell to sync with my home wifi. This thing only works at 2.something hz. The standard is 5 in our area. Waited months almost a year to purchase an optional base station for it. So disheartened I haven’t even tried to hook it up yet.

    I love the look and features listed… but I bought a new Eeos Wi-Fi mesh router so I could use this doorbell. I love the style and how easy it was to install. BUT every time someone rings the doorbell the app freezes up. Granted the video works great if I just open the app. Hopefully we will get an App update soon
