My Ring had a black screen after Ring did some type of update. I got tired of dealing with their customer service so I purchased the Arlo. Quality wise, the video is great. But the delay on video when someone is actually at my door is aggravating. They literally have to wait minutes and the communication between the Arlo in live mode has me looking for a different doorbell. Also, even without the chime the Ring was loud. This doorbell is so low that the only time I know someone is there is due to my phone alerting me. It has so much potential, but it’s not there yet for me.

Only downside and reason for 4 stars is the need to buy the chime unless you want to rely on your phone for answering the door.

Perfect for your first wire free doorbell

And we installed our lo wire free doorbell. And we also have a subscription integration with it. And we’ve been using it for about 2 to 3 weeks now, and we absolutely love it. It was super easy to set up. The ability to use it with HomeKit is amazing. And wouldn’t change anything about it.

Arlo got it right! Super easy to install (wireless), and super easy to use! It integrates perfectly with my Google Nest WiFi and my other Google Smart Home devices! I love that I can access the live feed from the Google Home app and cast the live feed to my TV! Super great! Love it love it love it!
