Works well if you already have an Arlo system, plugs right in and has good alerts and qualities. One drawback is the angle setting, I wish it were more angled so that I could hardwire it to my home chime and still get the similar view and angle.

I bought this camera two years after my Arlo home camera kit. I had a tb hard drive attached the the hub to keep recordings for over two years and still have 10 more years to go as far as space goes. After installing the doorbell it automatically started a Arlo secure trial without my consent . I said ok, fine, I’ll try it out it’s free and didn’t bother perusing that issue further. A month later the subscription ended and every recording for the past two years was no longer accessible on the Arlo App. Hard drive attached shows it’s good and the space that’s left and used. I called there call center that’s based out of India, great…. They said they would get back to me in 48 hours it’s been a longer still no response or resolution except an email advertising I get to sign up for the stupid secure plan . They said if I used the cloud this issue wouldn’t occur. They said for me to look for some drop down list that never existed in the two years I’ve had the product. They’re just trying to sell you on their subscription. If I actually needed any previous recordings For evidence I would be out of luck. They want you to only use their annually charged plan in order to view and store recordings which is not enough time of 30 days . Horrible service and product selling tactics by deleting your history when the trial ends .

I bought this doorbell to replace my Ring 2. My Ring had a black screen after Ring did some type of update. I got tired of dealing with their customer service so I purchased the Arlo. Quality wise, the video is great. But the delay on video when someone is actually at my door is aggravating. They literally have to wait minutes and the communication between the Arlo in live mode has me looking for a different doorbell. Also, even without the chime the Ring was loud. This doorbell is so low that the only time I know someone is there is due to my phone alerting me. It has so much potential, but it’s not there yet for me.

Installed the wire free doorbell a few days ago. So far I am very happy with the video quality for daytime and night time. Easy to set up. Battery is great. My only complaint would be upon set up. It took a long time for the device to find my wifi. Network was on 2.4G, no mistakes on my end. Overall product is working very well. Happy with my purchase.

Me and the wife just built a house. And we installed our lo wire free doorbell. And we also have a subscription integration with it. And we’ve been using it for about 2 to 3 weeks now, and we absolutely love it. It was super easy to set up. The ability to use it with HomeKit is amazing. And wouldn’t change anything about it.

Easy installation - up and running in minutes. Video quality great. Only downside and reason for 4 stars is the need to buy the chime unless you want to rely on your phone for answering the door.

This is the best smart doorbell I've ever used! Arlo got it right! Super easy to install (wireless), and super easy to use! It integrates perfectly with my Google Nest WiFi and my other Google Smart Home devices! I love that I can access the live feed from the Google Home app and cast the live feed to my TV! Super great! Love it love it love it!

Arlo Doorbell is pretty good, i like the video feeding and it can call your phone if someone press the button. But sometimes when you answer the call it take a while before it show you the feeds or sometimes not at all. All and all I like it.

The Arlo Video Doorbell is so easy to install and use. We've been using this product for about a week now and it helps us a lot because our house door doesn't have a door viewer and it is hard for us to know who is knocking at the door.

Good doorbell camera, that alerts and record's accordingly. The only downfall is that there is a 1min to 2min lag from the time it detects a person to when it notifies you. Also the wireless version is very bulky.

Absolutely the worst doorbell. I bought this almost 2 years ago. It constantly goes offline or dfoes not record at all. the audio never works and the numerous times I have called Arlo support they always have an excuse, it's my internet, my router or whatever reason they can come up with to not honor or fix their product.
