It has only ever worked as intended one time, shortly after its installation. Whenever someone rings it now, the video won't appear, or I'll get an error that it is offline. The point of a video doorbell is to be able to see and possibly communicate with the person who rings it, and in that regard this product is an absolute failure. It is well within range of my WiFi router, and the battery has been replaced multiple times to try and remedy the issue, but to no avail. I am sorry to say that arlo products are trash, and it will be a cold day in hell before I ever purchase another one.

With just $50 more for wire free you would get super easy installation with less than 5 mins. The doorbell connects directly to wifi so you would get better stable connection than cameras connect through the Arlo Hub. The camera in doorbell is crispy clear and super bright (like full sun even it could be midnight outside) so you can see exactly whats going on outside.Price is decent with best quality so this is my only company to go for doorbell camera

Been trying for months after my free trial expired. But it works really well

Had to contact customer service several times. They close at 6. I bought the camera because I was having issues with an intruder. The delay time on this camera is about 7 seconds for your motion notification. Which is a long time when someone is breaking in your home! Motion sensor goes off for a bug but won’t catch people 90% of the time. I can get a notification on the phone that says motion was detected, go to look at the feed and it didn’t record anything. Very frustrating!!!! There is not a brand specific door mount either. Bought one that was for blink and had to alter it so that it would work.

Bad setup, but superior product.

Arlo should really give more options for setting up. Superior to Nest doorbell camera tht I have now. Better picture and viewing angles. Might give this another try, but its hard when I know setup can be almost impossible if something acts up.
