Got it connected to my network and phone, but it wouldn’t start recording until people were halfway through the frame. Contacted support and they had me up the detection sensitivity to 100% and that made it worse. Now all I was getting were the backsides of people. They had me hard reset it and then it wouldn’t connect to my phone or wireless network again after multiple tries. Obviously it was bad from the factory. When it was “working” though, there was a 10-12 second delay before it would stream the video to my phone, so forget about seeing who was at your front door immediately. I’m on a 1Gbps connection with a full Aruba Instant-On network, so I had a ton of bandwidth. I wouldn’t waste your time.

I am going to return it. It was the worse purchase I have made yet.

Bad setup, but superior product.

Arlo should really give more options for setting up. Superior to Nest doorbell camera tht I have now. Better picture and viewing angles. Might give this another try, but its hard when I know setup can be almost impossible if something acts up.

It has only ever worked as intended one time, shortly after its installation. Whenever someone rings it now, the video won't appear, or I'll get an error that it is offline. The point of a video doorbell is to be able to see and possibly communicate with the person who rings it, and in that regard this product is an absolute failure. It is well within range of my WiFi router, and the battery has been replaced multiple times to try and remedy the issue, but to no avail. I am sorry to say that arlo products are trash, and it will be a cold day in hell before I ever purchase another one.
