Very good, but could be better

Sometimes the delay is so bad that the recording only captures the object's departure from the camera view instead of the object approaching.

Not so great if you have 5G

The worst!!!

It just spend 4 hours on the changer and it's still not fully charged. Then I had to re-sync it to my WiFi and each time I had to put in the password. Then you have to use a pin to sync the doorbell to the system but the button only works sometimes (I was able to get it to work 3 times out of seven (meaning I had to input my password 7 times)) with repeated pushing the pin in. Neither of those three times could my doorbell be "found" (there were side by side on the table). So right now I have nothing. When the unit was working it took over two minutes to ring the chime I bought. The chine was plugged in less the two feet away from the doorbell. I never was able to check the speaker because by the time it registered on my phone the visitor was long gone. I know I should have brough a NEST.

Futuristic Doorbell

I do know of other brands out there that may be better than this one, but I already have the Arlo camera setup & figured I may as well stick with the brand. App is a little wonky sometimes, but gets the job done.

Integration with Home Assistant could be better but there are enough 3rd party support for it.

It’s not always taking video of everything walking past the door, even missing the mail person, so doesn’t quite produce everything I would have expected. It does satisfy my need of having a doorbell, but not so much on the recording of people coming and going from the house, it’s hit or miss from time to time.

Is wireless and the best thing is that the app that you have to download Is easy to use.Also the resolution of cam is great day or night .

On play back it tends to freeze play which I hate. But when someone rings your doorbell it does notify you on your phone and you can talk to the person as well as see them on the camera. I would not recommend Arlo. I bought because I’ve already invested in the internal and external cameras and wanted to be consistent with the doorbell.
