    After 10 months the 2 way communication is not working anymore and the battery life is divided by 2. Regret making the purchase

    Best buy will lie to you to get you to make a purchase. With them knowing they dont plan on hororing it within a reasonable amount of time. Then theyll call you the day before delivery and say they dont have your merchandise. Then on top of that, theyll say you have to call the next day to make sure the refund works. I gotta search for my refund, but yet you got the money right away when i paid. Absolutely ridiculous

    Easy to set up, but did not always get movement in the zones selected. Returned this product for a Ring.

    Great, clear picture. Very easy to charge the battery. Much easier to use than this retired, non-computer savvy person thought it would be. Very happy with purchase.

    I have had the Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wire-Free for a few weeks now and I wanted to wait to post my review until I could do some climate testing and long term use testing. First thing to note, when you get the doorbell do as it says and charge the battery completely. At first I just plugged in it and let it run which did not last long.. about a week. Once I did a full charge I haven't had to charge it again. After the full charge it has been running for 2 weeks and the battery is currently at 93% and the average temp outside has been around 40 degrees with nights getting as cold as 5 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit comes with a free 3 month trial of Arlo Smart and the notifications are nearly instant of when an event is detected with motion. Usually I hear my neighbor open the door then 5-10 seconds later my phone goes off. The one thing I will note is that connecting to the unit does take up to 30 seconds but is also about 100 feet from my Access point with walls in the way. Overall this is a great unit and being wire free and secured to ensure no one can rip it off and run with it makes this a no brainer for anyone in the market for a doorbell

    The product works as advertised, has some great features, works well, I was able to mount it on a very unique doorway with an anti-theft device, is compatible with many things that just add to its own value, and I've just scratched the surface on the options and customizations. Very nice field of view and I also got a small dedicated monitor for the front door. Arlo gives an amazing picture and I have it working with Alexa now. Very nice!

    Nobody can hear me through the doorbell no matter the device I use. I have good connection but the camera video looks like a locked channel from the 90s on tv. Battery lasts about 5 days then I have to pull and recharge.

    Overall Rating 12345 I already have 3 Arlo Pro 3 security cameras around my house perimeter and wanted something for the front door. The new video wireless door bell fit the bill. It was very simple to install and is easy to use. My only complaint is that it does not sync to my existing wireless doorbell. I wouldn't mind buying the Arlo chime but I don't understand why we have to pay extra for shipping to Hawaii. We are part of the US and almost all the companies I deal with do not charge extra for shipping to Hawaii. Wake up Arlo! We are not a third world country. USPS delivers to Hawaii for the same price as anywhere else in the continental US.

    Doorbell Failure

    Had to return it. Took over 6 hours to charge and when it finally did it drained in 5 minutes. Then it couldn't connect to the WIFI. Was disappointed especially since I have 2 Arlo Cameras and they work beautifully

    Super easy install. Video and audio quality is great. App is easy to use and notifications work great. The day after we installed it we had a potential porch pirate come to our door looking for packages to steal. Fortunately nothing had been delivered that morning so she went off empty handed. 10 miinutes later though 3 packages were deliver. Even caught delivery man tossing one of the packages. Great evidence if anything was broken.

    This Arlo doorbell is a great addition to our smarthome and Arlo setup. We already have the wired version of this doorbell, so we placed this one at a different entrance, on the side of our house. What's great about this doorbell is that there are 2 installation options... wireless or wired. Either way, the setup is very seamless. It was easy to connect to our WiFi and our mobile devices. We already have an Arlo ecosystem, so adding this to our app was easy. The video stream and audio is very clear. We also were able to integrate the Arlo with our Google Home system. What's awesome about this is that, when someone rings the doorbell, all our Google Home devices announce the call. The notification also rings your smartphone as if it's a phone call. Overall, I'm very happy with the Arlo video doorbell... both versions of it.

    NOT compatible with Echo Show as advertised; Have called support from both Arlo and Echo..you can view the video but can NOT answer the bell or see video once the bell is pressed.

    Love concept of product but due to company (Arlo) decision to force subscription on cusumers for local or even 7 day cloud recording, doorbell camera becomes extremely limited and really becomes useless if recording option is not available.

    Some brands are just better than others and when it comes to Arlo your getting better. I'm familiar with the different video doorbells such as Ring and the type of problem you run into installing one. Let me say, Arlo made everything about installing EASY! NO MORE CORDS AND WIRES!! Its ran on a battery and the battery last for 12 months!! The other thing that makes the Arlo video doorbell different is the full-frame video that shows the entire porch and not in a fish-eye lens like some video doorbells I have had in the past. Everything about Arlo was easy and successful! I highly recommend this brand if you're looking at video doorbells.

    Arlo has virtually NO customer support. It turned out that it won't work with wi-fi 6. Luckily Best Buy took it back and I replaced it with a Ring which I really like.

    Arlo Wireless doorbells

    I have 2 wireless doorbells installed along with the Chime 2. The video quality is outstanding and the notifications are timely and accurate. We feel 100% more secure with package delivery. I find it really gives me piece of mind when I am traveling for work. It's very easy for all members of my household to access and use. We will be adding additional outdoor cameras to our set up over the next few weeks. A very good quality product.
