The Arlo Essential wireless door bell was easy to set up with the very clear directions and videos that the company provides. The fact that I didn’t have to hard wire this device was a blessing! However if you wanted to hard wire, they provided the wires to do so in the box. 10/10 would recommend this product.

I bought this wireless doorbell because I like the arlo ecosystem. It even came with a free cloud storage trail. I have the VMB4000 base station which allows for direct storage. I thought I would go ahead and use the free trial then switch to the storage on my home base unit. Well it doe snot work like that arlo has become shady and the only way to be able to see your previous recordings is to pay for a monthly subscription. If this was the case it should be explained clearly when setting it up so people don't waste money on things like this. So my options are now to either buy a subscription or look for a new doorbell that allows me to keep my recordings local and review them whenever I want

I have Arlo Pro 2 cameras which work seamlessly with the doorbell to provide the piece of mind that my family was looking for. Setup was easy and the performance is top notch so far, video is very clear with a wide field of view. Highly recommended product for anyone considering a video doorbell.
