    Slow internet=no Arlo doorbell

    Probably good, but evidently I don't have the internet services to support this. Have contacted Arlo support, but this is all they can tell me. Very disappointed, it looked simple, but nothing is. Don't buy this if you live in a rural area and don't have super good internet service.

    This doorbell never seems to work when you need it. There is a 5 to 7 seconds lag in the video which is not a big deal, but when you were trying to talk to somebody the lag is too long. On top of that this doorbell seems to always disconnect from the base. Or when recording the video is very pixelated in a green screen. This is crap crap crap crap.

    Product was okay, pretty noticeable lag between detection and alerts. After a few days I returned the Arlo Camera and Doorbell for two reasons: 1) Arlos' Customer Service - 1000% SUCKS. Installing it to WiFi was a bit clunky and could NEVER get a straight answer from Arlo. Again HORRIBLE Service 2) I specifically asked the best-buy associate if this model was Apple HomeKit compatible - but it was not I returned everything.

    I regret purchasing this item. If you’re close the street, it alerts you when EVERY SINGLE car passes! Even when you switch off the Vehicle and all other motion detectors, it still alerts you-very annoying! They definitely need to work out the glitches! I made several purchases over the holidays and this is my least favorite!

    It's a faulty device by design. The video freezes starting form 5 sec to 10 sec almost 80% of time. Worst device I bought it for 130$.

    Video doorbell doesn’t work

    It worked perfectly for 5 months and then one day it stopped working. I tried resetting the device and everything else that was recommended. Truly disappointed that my video doorbell does not work. Based off other comments on Facebook page it looks like I may not receive a receive a replacement. Best Buy should stop selling this product.

    Decent Video Doorbell

    Installation was easy. If you have a wired doorbell already, this installs the same way, then you get the added benefit of having a security camera. This was used to augment my existing Arlo network, so I already was paying the subscription fee that is required for all the features. The camera on the Arlo Doorbell is really wide. Captures a lot more than my previous video doorbells. The coolest ability that this offers over other doorbells is visitors can leave a message if you don't answer the door. If you want to bolster your security I am a huge proponent of video doorbells. The Arlo doorbell offers a wide view and crisp visuals to capture everything.

    My wired doorbell works wonderfully. I can see who is at my doorstep without having to be right there. It gives me peace of mind.

    The doorbell gives a great video scope of the area in front of our front door. The app is relatively easy to use. I would recommend this product.

    Great product. I like that it call your phone when someone ring the doorbell and it have the features that they can leave a voicemail.

    No customer service from Arlo. Beware!

    Had difficulty connecting and there was no customer support available from Arlo. As of 1 October all customer support is done via videos which were no help . In order to have life support you had to be a subscriber but you can’t be a subscriber until it’s connected it was a vicious cycle of frustration. After a week of trying unsuccessfully we return the item.

    So far, the Arlo doorbell is working as stated. There is a delay when wired to your original doorbell, so I purchased the Arlo chime.

    It was good but it would un sync every couple days. I just ended up getting the Ring, and is so much better.

    Great video and facial recognition

    Returned a Ring camera because the video was horrible. This Arlo doorbell is great. I like the fact it comes with the angled mount.

    Worked great then when our subscription was upgraded it stopped working with the app. Its a pain to reboot it, we actually haven't had the time. You have to take it off the house and push a button in the back. Haven't had time to get back to it. Doorbell works without subscription, just not video.

    After opening them up I read in the fine print that a subscription is required. I hate that! Their privacy policy is not private for the end user. Read their fine print. It should have been obvious before purchase that a subscription was required.
