    I connected it to the Arlo hub so it doesn't need an online subscription. Love it!!

    This device has a built-in anti theft feature. One hour after installation and after working just fine, it activated the anti theft and LOCKED itself. I spent HOURS on the phone with the techs. Even they had to admit that the produce is buggy as a result of the anti-theft feature. Wait for the next version...

    Biggest waste of money, the item stopped working after 5 days and customer service was either horrible or non existent. I had high hopes but they went right out the door after being on support for 3+ hours with no help.

    I bought this product during sale and got a defective piece. Went to best buy to swap it and got charged the original price as the product isn't on sale and they didn't have the same color. Very disappointed and will never go to bby for further business.

    Stopped working in Texas hot weather. It was advertised as working in any wether conditions. Reached out to the Arlo customer support but they were unable to assist.

    Had to bring back we were not able to hard wire this to our home. No way to got the rechargeable ring that is Edgar i would recommend if you can't hardwired.

    Not haply with the quality of the streaks. I purchased this product for piece of mind, but its been thw opposite. All I can see is streaks and customer service mad eme pay for shipping on a new/refurbished one and its even worse. Thanks Arlo

    Terrible Local Recording Options

    Without a subscription, you cannot adjust motion detection areas for the camera or view local USB stored recordings from the app (only from a PC with the USB connected). Disgusting lockdown of features just to milk more money out of customers.

    Major connection issues, video doesn’t work. Have reset several times with persistent issue. I regret not returning and getting another brand. My old gen one Ring worked without issues. Will be selling this on eBay for a massive loss. I will not buy another Arlo product ever.

    If you have an issue be prepared. I’ve been going back and forth with Arlo on this doorbell for months now. At this point they want me to send it to them and pay for the shipping. The link to do this doesn’t work either. What a joke this has turned out to be.
