Easy install after figuring out I needed a compatible electronic doorbell chime. If you run into the same issue, you’ll need NICOR Prime Chime +2 Electronic Doorbell Kit. Got it on Amazon. I imagine it’s an easier install if you have a normal chime. Either way, camera works great.

Currently we have an Arlo security system in place so I figured why not go ahead and keep everything under one roof. All I can say is that I am not disappointed. This new product far exceeded my expectations. Great job Arlo! Note: we did purchase this item while it was on sale during Memorial Day.

The Arlo Essential Doorbell is a nice device. I enjoy it better than other smart doorbell that I have purchased. It is easy to install. The software is easy to operate and connect. There are a few things that Arlo needs to work on with this device. First, the device cannot connect to homekit without purchasing the Arlo hub. The cloud service for the price is not terrible but a few things need improvements. It would be nice to have facial recognition for when people approach the doorbell so the user knows who is approaching the door. The zones are nice but they need to be improved to have more than 4 points per zone, not every area is a square or rectangle in size.

Great field of view, Video is very good. Delay is a little long but expected since it has to go to cloud. There was a little issue connecting to home WIFI due to an Arlo issue.

Easy to install, connect to the doorbell and get it up and running. The camera is great and the fields of view FANTASTIC. It's important to test how sensitive you want the camera to be as very sensitive gets you motion from leaves on plants near the door. Great product!

I purchased the Arlo Video Doorbell because I already had the Arlo system in my house. I ended up replacing my doorbell converter as well because the old one didn't have enough power. The picture is great a there are many nice features to use as well. The install was straight forward and easy to understand. A few negatives I'd mention are from reading the description I thought the camera would distinguish between people and other objects and record only what I wanted, but that feature doesn't work at all. Also you're supposed to be able to focus in on a specific area and only record when there is motion in that area, but that doesn't work well either. Hopefully Arlo will put out some updates to address these issues.

video door bell works great. we like knowing when someone comes to the house when we are not home. Plus if a package comes in well we will know. Install was easy. The instructions are a little weak. I use U tube from someone who has has installed it all really for instructions to install.

I like this camera. It has an adapter for your mechanical chime. Good daylight image and night vision. iPhone app is good. Unfortunately, my arlo wouldn’t switch to infrared at night so I had to return.

I really like this Doorbell. I choose this doorbell over Ring because I trust the netgear products. This doorbell have excellent night vision and to me it looks like it have 4k video.

The installation was very easy and the Arlo app walked me through ever scenario at my own pace. The quality of the video and features are far better than my daughter’s Ring. We loaded the app on an Apple and I gave permission to a person with an Android and both applications are flawless.

Arlo video doorbell is a high quality, security doorbell. With a full body image and a quick 2 way voice response.. It looks clear as day in the night time and a user friendly app..highly recommend coming from a person who has had the competitors, the ring and the nest.. 5 out of 5 stars.

This doorbell camera works much better than the Ring doorbells that I had. The installation was very easy and quick. The clarity of this doorbell camera is pretty good. The only negative thing I can report is that sometimes the motion sensor is delayed. Overall, it’s worth the money.

I would have given a five if the customer support wasn't worthless. What they don't tell you is that this will not connect to a mesh network if you have any symbols like ~!@#$%^&*()_+ in either the password or the network name. You also have to temporarily disable the 5g speed because it will only connect to 2.5. After it is connected it will work mesh network. Besides that, it works great!

We live in a house built in 2000. We've done a lot of upgrading over the years. Installing Arlo was the easiest project we've ever taken on! Everything you need is included (minus screwdrivers). Easy step by step instructions. Great quality video and audio. Only a 3 second delay.

Installed quickly and works great. There is a short lag between the doorbell and my phone, between barely noticeable to a few seconds sometimes, but I guess that's to be expected. Video and audio are clear and I'm happy I didn't pay more for the Google doorbell.

After reviewing multiple video doorbell options, I opted to purchase the Arlo and I was not disappointed. Installation was relatively easy and straight forward and once installed, you are up and running. Audio is also crisp and clear! Very much recommend this product.

This is a great camera. Great picture and video quality day& night. The only thing I had difficulty with was connecting to WiFi. I contacted Arlo support multiple times. I did not talk to a live person over the phone; I was texting a representative through the app; it did not fix my problem. I ended up resolving the problem on my own after asking a friends how they trouble-shooted theirs. The doorbell cam was not detecting my WiFi on the 2nd floor. So, I had to bring the router to the front door, and it worked! After connecting, I moved my router back up to the 2nd floor and it still works.

This was pretty easy to setup! And it’s a pretty nice camera. The only downfall is that there is a decent delay with voice when the motion detection is triggered. By the time someone gets picked up by the motion detector and you get a notification they are already ringing your doorbell. Also can take a while for you to establish a connection when it calls you and your voice is delayed when trying to speak to the person at the door. It makes me feel like the person has been standing at the door for a while before you get any sort of feedback.

best video doorbell I've ever used. the quality of the video, the quickness of showing up on the app, the ability to zoom in. I also love that it has specific detection.
