It's OK, but not a complete system

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Arlo device due to the design and security features, but after the 90 day free trial for cloud storage, the doorbell itself has no built in functionality to store videos. This means a person could steal a package off your front porch, then a car drives by and you would have no way of tracking back to see the prior videos for the past 3 or 4 hours, which other devices like this offer, unless you want to subscribe to their cloud storage which is $9.99 a month; a little pricey for what you get. It is also super sensitive (I live on a busy street and sidewalk) and even with the sensitivity turned all the way down, it still chimes at me.

It's Okay

I would have bought a diffent brand if I didn't I have other Arlo cameras. It is nice that you do not have to pay for a service plan. I had to call support to help get it working. They were very helpful. They walked me right through it and they were very patient.

Was disappointed it wasn’t made to bolt up to standard two hole door bell spacing. There’s only a few million of those out there, seems like it would be the best place to start. Even an option with holes in that spacing would be nice. But nope.

From Google to Arlo

The way it “calls” your phone is a great addition and the option for the person to leave a message if you don’t answer. I also love the seamless Apple HomeKit integration and how the doorbell pops up on my TV when I’m watching my Apple TV.

I just wish that you could buy a lifetime subscription to Arlo for the product or if it could integrate into my security system. I hate having to pay subscription costs in addition to buying technology.
