The camera is pretty good and the picture quality is great but it has completely missed a package delivery. A package was brought to the porch and sat down in front of the door and the delivery person even stopped to take a picture where he left it. No notification or recording. I don't believe it is a motion sensitivity issue because it was triggered by a bee, a bird and a few squirrels. I am not confident in the reliability of this doorbell camera. I am not ready to give up on it yet because I haven't had it long enough to know if the camera is the issue or my knowledge of how to operate it. I really want it to work because I would like to add cameras to the system I have that includes an Arlo Pro camera which also fails to catch everything but that's another review. I will update my review after I have used it a while longer.

I started out with the Arlo camera system and I had long been waiting and hoping for them to introduce a video doorbell. Well the wait paid off! I installed this several weeks ago and I love it. Installation was a breeze. My only issue with it is the delay between the ringing of the bell and the notification/ringing on my phone. This could be improved but otherwise I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great camera and features. Super simple to install and use. Would recommend to family as it’s super cost competitive compared to other brands. Would like some more custom notification features but I’m sure they will come with updates.

Worked perfect with my transformer and connected to our wifi/base station easy. The only issue was mounting to my siding next to the door, but i was anle to take care of that. Camera works great and the calling system when a person pushes the doorbell button is a game changer especially with young children that nap.

We have all the other Arlo cameras for our house. Including the Arlo baby for my daughter's room. Also we have been using these cameras for years with flawless performance. It was a must that Iadded the doorbell camera as well. Simple to use and set up like all the other Arlo cameras. Great pictures,videos, and operations

It was a bit of a hassle getting it installed, but I suppose that is due to my apartment's wiring. But now that it is up and running I love the video quality and the range of view. Feel much safer. One thing I do wish we could do is have multiple devices synced with it so that both me and my fiancé could answer and get the notifications. Other than that, no complaints!

Awesome picture. Easy setup. Happy to be able to see who or what is at the door whether I’m home or not. I just need to figure out why it won’t record to cloud. Did at first but stopped. Will look into whether subscription is need when I get the time but it’s still worth the investment. Can’t beat the picture quality. I’m happy with purchase.

Very good product and easy to install. The only thing I could say is that in my case the doorbell is not located in a good place, and the 15 degree wedge is not that useful for me. It would be great if they would include 15, 30 and 45 degree wedges for people that have problems with the location of the existing doorbell. Had to buy a 35 degree wedge in Amazon.

This was an incredibly easy install. The only bump in the road came way of installing updated firmware. It took me about four or five attempts and upwards of 30 minutes. After that it was smooth sailing. Picture quality and features are outstanding. Would most certainly recommend.

This doorbell has been amazing since the day of install!! Install was super simple and the new Arlo doorbell gives me more ease knowing my packages are seen and safe. it also give me peace of mind knowing I can see anyone who enters or try’s to enter my home. It also sets up smoothly with my arlo security cameras and base station!!! I highly recommend this product!!

easy to install (wired) however need to check the voltage requirements and the current chime may not be compatible even if voltage. also when inserting the front doorbell cover need to be careful due to being plastic.

Replacing an old wired doorbell with this was a breeze and the instructions were easy to follow. The video quality on the doorbell is excellent. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the delay between what is happening in real time and what you see on the camera. I decided to go with Arlo cameras over Nest because of the the amount of complaints I read about the delays with Nest’s cameras. Unfortunately, Arlo cameras have a slight delay as well. I was notified of a person walking on my property and saw him walk by the front door on my camera when he was actually standing on my back deck. Thankfully it was just a someone delivering a package, but it still gave me a scare because on camera, he was still by the front of the house, but in reality he had already made it to the back yard. Otherwise I’m happy with this product as well as the other Arlo cameras I have around the property.

Great price and really good picture quality. Easy to install but multi user functionality has been challenging - although could be user error. Bit of lag on the audio interaction at present, but overall would buy again and recommend.

The camera is easy to install and has by far the best video there is. My aunt just bought a competitor’s doorbell camera and arlo has an outstanding picture and video quality. I love that its easy access, easy install and I didnt use too much extra equipment. I purchased two outdoor cameras and I can’t wait to install them as well.

Just as cnet recommend this as the best one, it is. Easy set up. Just the two wires from the old door bell to the new one and the easy included adapter goes into the chime. Connected to wifi great. Easy google home connection to see the video on the kitchen display or TV. Get this one! Great video quality day or pitch black night.

This Arlo wired Doorbell cam was available for a very reasonable price, so reasonable it caused me to do extra research to see if there were major drawbacks. I went ahead with the purchase. So far I am happy with the doorbell cam. I am comparing it to the Ring Pro I previously owned. So far the picture quality is better. The app pulls up the video quicker, allowing better use of the two way audio. The functionality of it has been more reliable and consistent than my Ring Pro Doorbell Cam. The app is simple, straight forward. My biggest complain is that when I get a push notification for movement and click the notification, it doesn’t take me to a love view. It pulls up whatever o was previously viewing. I then I have to click in to see love view of what may be going on. Overall, I like it better than the Ring, because it has been more consistent and reliable.

So far this doorbell camera is working well now that it’s set up properly. I had trouble getting it to fully connect to Alexa so the various Echos would ring (note that my Sonos soundbar with Alexa will NOT ring). I contacted support who were helpful in trying to trouble shoot the issue. I ultimately disabled the Arlo a skill then reinstalled it which worked finally. I wish I could always have the doorbell armed while my other cameras are disarmed during the day. Maybe it’s me. Lastly, this is larger that I expected, especially since I have it mounted with the angle bracket. About the angle bracket, the countersunk screws make it difficult to get the mount perfectly vertical when using the angle bracket. The chamfered screw head will push the recess of the bracket to the side as you tighten it.

I'm loving our new camera doorbell! It was easy to install and liking the Arlo brand. We just need to figure out how to connect it to our Google hub and we'll be set. Planning on next getting the camera to install around the house.

I’ve been waiting forever for them come out with a video doorbell and the wait was worth it. It has very good video and sound quality. It only took me an hour to install it and it merged into the Arlo app with other cameras seamlessly. Great product for price point.

The camera view is really good. Easy install. I don’t know what went wrong but it keeps saying someone is tampering and make sure it’s still there. The app is also easy to use with a good view. It lasted about 5 days and it stop working. So I’m thinking maybe my transformer is bad. I put new wiring and a new transformer. Same things everything worked perfect for about 6 days and it’s dead again . This was my second one. I returned it no problem and end up getting a ring. Been a month and the ring is still working .
