We have used this doorbell for years now, it has decent camera clarity and actually picks up a decent amount of movement. Some movement is missed however and the video clips cut off quickly. It is definitely a good doorbell for the cost and was not very difficult to install.

Love love love Have the Arlo cameras so wanted to match with the doorbell

This is my 3rd Arlo Video Doorbell camera in 2 months. The first 2 cameras I had I purchased from Home Depot and they had terrible audio quality so I returned them. This one I purchased from Best Buy has by far the best audio quality of the 3 cameras. However it is not perfect. It has it's own flaws. I noticed that all of the cameras I purchased functioned differently even though they were the same products from the same company and they were programmed on the same settings. The flaws with this Best Buy camera is that it's not as sensitive to motion like the other 2 cameras were. So I receive less notice when someone or something is near my home which I don't like. I enjoyed the sensitivity of the other 2 cameras. Also when someone rings the doorbell, the visual takes soooo long to load that the "video" part of the doorbell is basically useless. Which defeats the purpose of having a VIDEO doorbell camera. I didn't have this problem with the 2 previous cameras I returned. Also there is always a delay in the camera that varies in time. Sometimes the delay is 5 seconds, sometimes the delay is almost 10 seconds, but it's never in real time. Another problem I didn't have with the other 2 cameras I returned. So now that I realize all of the Arlo video doorbell cameras I've gone through function slightly differently, I would tell you all that it is important to just get one that functions the best for you and your home. Even if that means trial and error by returning a few times like I had to do.

Really great device at $79! Easy to setup and works with my existing doorbell. You just download the app and it has a really awesome walkthrough for setup and configuration. Also came with slant/wedge thing which was needed for my location. I have other Arlo security cams so this was added to an existing setup and Arlo base. Only gripe is the same for my other cams, the “schedule” function is just broken and does not work. Easy integration with Alexa.

Hard to set up on angle and have to pay for a subscription. Works well with my other cameras on my system and easy to set up.

This product has served its purpose and I installed the product along with several cameras by myself. I am not a real handy person either. I have enjoyed the product for the first week!

This is one of the best home improvements I've made in a long time. It's worth the price and time required to install. If I can install it you can. Count on that.

The video quality is best at both night and day time. The smart feature in parallel to homekit support makes it no brainer. It is one of the best video door bell in the market.

I love the Arlo I had tried ring doorbell but couldn’t get it to stay connect to internet. I like how the Arlo tells you if it is a person, vehicle, or animal.

Easy to install and works very well with Arlo app.

The Arlo Doorbell is great so far. Picture quality is clear both day and night. My only complaint is the slight delay in notification on my phone when the doorbell is rung

Easy to install. Works very well. I had a ring doorbell for several years. Needed to be upgraded. Decided to go with Arlo as I have Arlo cameras inside and outside of my house.

Been waiting for Arlo to come out with a good doorbell cam. Still new, but have used Arlo before and been happy with previous products

Overall it is easy to install and bring online, but the fish eye view is a bummer, if that can be solved then it is a great camera.

Very easy to hook up to my existing doorbell chime. You have a option to hook up with or without smart hub - depends if you want a monthly fee or not.

Think about your installation location before proceding. I had to install on vinyl siding which was not flat against the house. This meant getting 3" wood screws to properly secure the unit. Of course, one of the screws would not grab properly due to a metal junction box in the wall inside the house. Ended up using mollys. Wiring up the unit to chime straight forward, but the chime started humming on its own as if it was tring to ring. Two hours on the phone with their tech support resolved the issues..

I’m very impressed with the video quality with the doorbell camera. It catches everything that gets close to the front door. Even the neighbors cat can’t escape the view of the camera.

This camera is easy to install and connect to your Arlo app. The package was complete with instructions (which of course as should). The two downfalls are; when you have multiple users with access to the main account, only the main user can make changes or see the camera for the doorbell. The other downfall is that the video doesn’t record videos, but it will alert and call when the camera has been tripped.

We did a lot of research on video doorbells and we are so happy we went with arlo! The picture quality is great and they have great customer service! Definitely worth the money.
