I love the Arlo I had tried ring doorbell but couldn’t get it to stay connect to internet. I like how the Arlo tells you if it is a person, vehicle, or animal.

Overall it is easy to install and bring online, but the fish eye view is a bummer, if that can be solved then it is a great camera.

Good product does what i bought it for. Camera works good and shows who comes to the door. Woks with Alexa

Think about your installation location before proceding. I had to install on vinyl siding which was not flat against the house. This meant getting 3" wood screws to properly secure the unit. Of course, one of the screws would not grab properly due to a metal junction box in the wall inside the house. Ended up using mollys. Wiring up the unit to chime straight forward, but the chime started humming on its own as if it was tring to ring. Two hours on the phone with their tech support resolved the issues..

Very good smart doorbell, easy to setup and the clarity is great!

I’m very impressed with the video quality with the doorbell camera. It catches everything that gets close to the front door. Even the neighbors cat can’t escape the view of the camera.

This camera is easy to install and connect to your Arlo app. The package was complete with instructions (which of course as should). The two downfalls are; when you have multiple users with access to the main account, only the main user can make changes or see the camera for the doorbell. The other downfall is that the video doesn’t record videos, but it will alert and call when the camera has been tripped.

We did a lot of research on video doorbells and we are so happy we went with arlo! The picture quality is great and they have great customer service! Definitely worth the money.

Seems well made but haven't installed it yet b/c it doesn't have a chime so I have to buy that separately. Problem is trying to find one... I didn't realize how old this version was or I would have gone with a different one.

Very easy to hook up to my existing doorbell chime. You have a option to hook up with or without smart hub - depends if you want a monthly fee or not.

The picture quality is good. The only problem I have with this product is that it alerts me to someone's presence after that person had come to door and about to leave. Take UPS delivery for example, the driver approaches the door, drops the item and starts to walk away and that is when I receive the alert. It doesn't pick the person up as he or she approaches the door and in the camera's view.

Really great device at $79! Easy to setup and works with my existing doorbell. You just download the app and it has a really awesome walkthrough for setup and configuration. Also came with slant/wedge thing which was needed for my location. I have other Arlo security cams so this was added to an existing setup and Arlo base. Only gripe is the same for my other cams, the “schedule” function is just broken and does not work. Easy integration with Alexa.

I'm still learning how to use this item. So far the fisheye look sort of makes it look like you're standing in front of one of those circus mirrors that make u look tall and thin and vise versa. Had to do some trouble shooting with the doorbell chime connecting, because first there was no sound, then there was a short sound. I googled it and works fine now. So it does connect just keep trying. Geek squad who installed it didn't even know until I searched it.

So far so good with this doorbell. I have had it installed for about a week. Install went smoothly. I was glad to see that it came with an angle mount in the box. I haven't decided yet if I will get one that angles it more, but it seems to give good coverage at this point. Need to fine tune alerts that I want to get, but it provides the features that I would like to see. I have had intermittent success getting it to show on my JBL Smart Display or tv chromecasts.

I purchased this doorbell because I have other Arlo products. It sends notifications and my phone rings when the doorbell is activated. The clarity is outstanding!

I was a Ring Pro user for a long time and multiple houses. I originally purchased the Ring Pro with the promise of HomeKit compatibility. After I don’t remember years of waiting I decided to see what else was out there. I saw that Arlo had a doorbell but I embarrassingly looked at other competitors because the Arlo was so inexpensive. I circled back around to Arlo because of HomeKit and the features and made the purchase. I am so glad I did because it is so much better than ring. It works great and I love the viewing angle and how I can now see my door mat.

Does the job and easy to setup! Highly recommended if you’re looking for door security.

Good quality video doorbell. Would suggest, in addition to angle mount, an additional mount to position doorbell perpendicular on lap siding.

I'm very happy with the Arlo Video doorbell. It has clear video and shows good range.
