Love our arlo doorbell!

Looks sleek and works well with the arlo system. My only issue is that it appears on your phone as a phone call when someone rings it and then you have to answer the phone call and then wait for the arlo app to open so you can speak through it.

At first it wouldn’t connect to my hub, which it should have, but connecting it through wifi (2.4ghz band) has worked perfectly fine so far. 4 stars because sometimes when the doorbell is rung, the app lags and leaves you waiting to get a video picture of who’s at your door.

The emergency response feature is a bonus feature. The biggest thing for me is I only get notifications for things that are important unlike my previous that went off when an ant crawled up the wall. And with package detection and a better view I can actually see my deliveries when hey arrive. The other two features are when your bell is rung you get a phone call from it so you can talk to whoever is there or hey can leave you a message and if you are out of town you can have it phone a friend that is housesitting for you very easily. Overall I love this product and will be looking into the cameras next for a consistent eco system .

All Good EXCEPT

Yes, chime, like doorbell chime! What the heck else would you use a chime for! I’m keeping the video doorbell in hopes they make a software change to allow these products to work together. REDICulous!

Good unit it saved my house from rotting away

While looking for transformer I had to follow the low voltage wire. So between the wiring I found a massive water leak from our newly remodeled bath. Had it not been for Arlo and the wiring my crawl space would have eventually rotted away :-). .... thank you Arlo Chris Wilmington NC
