Motion detection is fast and accurate. Video is sharp and the night vision works very well. Notifications are generally useful, though it can't distinguish between different people.

I am an ARLO fan. Have been since the beginning and this product simply increases that fanfare. Price is very reasonable for all that you get. The setup was incredibly simple and quick. You may have to drill a hole or two near your existing doorbell or where you want this one. If this will be a new installation, wiring to a doorbell ringer will have to be ran but if you have existing wiring, simply use that it. Connection to your WiFi network through the ARLO router was so simple I almost missed it. The video and audio quality through this device hits a deep homerun. The audio response has absolutely zero lag or hesitation. The video quality is so clear it is like you are standing there. The night time video is just as good but you do lose a little viewing range which should be expected. If you are considering a smart doorbell, I highly recommend this ARLO product.

Installation was simple. I enjoy that I don't have to change a battery (like the Arlo Pro2 cameras). I really enjoy the video quality. I like that it calls my phone when somebody rings the doorbell. It allows you to respond with some predetermined answers. I don't like the fact that it occasionally shows offline for some reason (while all other Arlo cameras are still working). I'm not sure what services I'll get when the 3 month subscription to Arlo Smart (only $3/month) runs out. It's a bit of a beast at 5 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide.

We were looking for a device for our home that could be a smart doorbell The issue was that we had two doors so I needed a system that would work with both doors since we only had one doorbell chime Arlo gave us the ability to do that. The quality of the camera is great and the ability to choose what we want the alerts to be was amazing. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. The installation was fairly easy for someone who had no electrical background. Instructions for the installation were clear and concise I felt very confident in my ability to install them. We've had them for a little over 2 weeks now and while we are still tweaking the zones to pick to up what we want to pick up, I am very pleased with this purchase. For anyone looking to get into smart video doorbells I would say look no further.

Very easy to install with just a few steps. The video quality is good even at night. I like the range on this device. For me, it also picks up movement in my driveway which I was surprised on. Very solid performer for the price.

Great option to help monitor your house. Easy to install, has 2 options depending on where your doorbell wiring is placed. I went with the wired option, and connecting to the electrical was a breeze. But warning! You still have to connect to your wifi and if your router or modem or whatever, is too far away, it won't connect and even recommends buying a wifi booster. So that isn't too cool. Came with a free 3 month trial, after that you can pay monthly ot pick a price option. The lower you pay, the less options you have though. So buyer beware.

Bought to replace a basic doorbell in an old house. Install was easy and straightforward. The old bell in the house was wired differently than expected but the included instructions still made it easy. The app doesn't allow permanently silencing notifications or to only allow certain notifications, so that could be better.

I had no trouble installing the doorbell but in order for my indoor chime to work I had to buy a stronger transformer. With the new transformer the chime worked. Unfortunately after I installed the new transformer both the transformer and the doorbell felt quite warm to the touch so I decided to return the product. There didn’t seem to be a good solution according to the tech support person I spoke to and I didn’t want to risk an electrical fire. I reluctantly returned the doorbell but I must say that it was working beautifully with clear video and sound. I blame the problem on my older wiring.

Picks up everything in the intended field. I had it installed by Geek Squad, and they had some trouble getting the software up and running; it seemed to have a glitch which was finally worked through. It takes some getting used to. I wish it could "learn" be programmed to recognize me so that it did not tell me every time I go through the front door. Also I am still getting used to how to work the camera when someone rings the doorbell; I want to "see" who is there before I decide to speak to the person or ignore the doorbell. The camera does provide a clear recording of anyone at the door.

The Arlo video doorbell was easy to easy to install. The package came with everything I needed for the installation and it was great having the app guide me through the install process. Couldn't be easier. Setup was also a breeze since I already own the Arlo 3 cameras in the house. Everything worked the first time around, which isn't always the case with a lot of gadgets these days. The video quality for both daytime and nighttime were very good and the square aspect ratio actually provides much more coverage than the traditional landscape aspect ratio. The motion detection and alerting worked as expected when the mailman dropped off a package the next day. I'm glad I went with Arlo rather than some of the other brands.

The install was easy. The instructions were easy to follow. I love that the view is not like the fish eye it’s wide and flatter than other products. Very clear picture and has night vision in color.

I have several Arlo products and love them. The doorbell is awesome now that I got it working. The install was fairly simple main thing is to make sure you have a powerful enough doorbell transformer. The Arlo video doorbell requires 16v-24v. I had to swap mine out. The only issue is the app and connection to my wireless network. Going through the setup on the app will generate a QR code to connect to your network. I tried several times and it would not connect. I even returned and tried a new doorbell. Same issue. So I went through the app on my Nighthawk router and used it’s generated QR code and suiting the setup I showed the camera the QR code from my Nighthawk app then it instantly connected and works perfect. Product is great app needs some work.

We felt a little added security for our home was a good idea. The Arlo video doorbell has been great! Not only does it add that extra security, but it let’s you know when a package arrives, and also allows you to speak thru the doorbell via your mobile phone. So if you’re unable to get to the door immediately, you can let your visitor know you’ll be a second. And being able to see thru the lens of the doorbell, even when your miles away, is pretty amazing. The clarity, high resolution and sound thru the speaker are all quite good. If you’re in the market for a video doorbell, I highly recommend the Arlo. I can’t speak for its competition, but I thought the Arlo was more attractive than others I’ve seen in the market.

This is a very easy to install and set up security camera with excellent image quality and audio features too. The app is easy to use, and this is a very cost effective option made by a credible internet products company.

Easy set up. Clear picture, including good night vision. The voice quality is great. I love how this doorbell rings to my phone and I can handle the visitor even when I’m not home.

The Arlo smart doorbell records at a high resolution with a wide field of view and night vision. It also ads the option of calling the linked device/s when the doorbell is pressed. Easy to install and setup with how-to videos readily available. The arlo app falls a bit short with its settings/configurations all over. They should be listed in one specific place. Overall, a good product.

I purchased the new Arlo Video Doorbell in March and I'm really happy with the product. The doorbell is amazing and comes with a great price also. On the first night the video doorbell showed a salesman ringing at the door and since I knew who it was and didn't want to deal with it I didn't answer the door, Lol Later that night it also capture video of a cat that's been coming to our front porch. The video quality with wide coverage and the 1 to 1 aspect ratio are great and far more superior to any product out there now. The Arlo app is also easy to use and has smart alerts for packages, animals, person, and vehicles. I'm very happy with the doorbell and would recommend this anyone in the market for a video doorbell.

The quality of the doorbell seems to be very high and is stylish. I followed the instructions and the door bell was fairly easy to install and took less than an hour. Once installed the doorbell has worked flawlessly. The doorbell itself has worked perfect and the app is very easy to use. We don’t have a viewport on our front door, its great to have the ability to view our front door when we have visitors, and it also is good to have a video camera watching our cars. It takes very good high quality video both day and night. I highly recommend this over other video doorbells.

I waited o get the video doorbell because I wanted the wireless for less installation hassle. But my neighbor asked me to install her wired Arlo video doorbell, and it was a breeze with Arlo’s instructions on the Arlo app. So I went and bought one the next day and installed it in about 15 minutes max. We love it. We were able to move our original Arlo Pro camera from the front door to another part of the house. The doorbell is sensitive and keeps us alerted to what’s going on outside. And we love the fact that our phones ring when someone is at the doorbell and shows the video automatically upon answering the phone. 10/10 would purchase again.

I absolutely love my Arlo doorbell! I also purchased the plug-in charm, which offers really nice sounds. Super excited to extend this line with the camera home surveillance system.
