It's a great little camera. Setup is easy, only requires two screws for mounting and two for the wiring. It's really easy to retrofit to a chime box as well. My only gripe is that it's plastic. Which, I get it, but it's not confidence inspiring when sitting in the Colorado weather. Otherwise, solid option!

We bought Arlo for the sole reason that it’s compatible with Apple home kit. Amazed on the quality of video it provides. Notifies you whether it’s a person, vehicle, or movement. Easy to I stall

Installation instructions were clear and precise - work if completed in the exact order as described - and the camera is sensitive enough to pick up everything. I get the FEDEX truck driving down the road, a neighborhood cat, and a lizard crawling on the wall and more important, everyone approaching the house. It also has a great field of view. You can't hide from this one. It must pick up constantly, records any movement and continues until movement stops. The picture is clear and works day or night. I would buy again and plan to buy the online storage for the doorbell and cameras. At $10 per month, it's a fair deal.

Best Decision I've Made For Sure.

I love the fact that I'm able to view my front door secretly whether I'm home or away. The motion sensor is great, it's always watching out for me and keeping me up to date on who or what is in front of my property. I have a greater peace of mind when my spouse is home alone now, so much so that I purchased another Arlo video doorbell for the back door. The microphone is incredible, it amazes me on how well and far I can hear with such clarity. The picture is great both day & night. The siren is an awesome security bonus, and I love the video call to my phone when the doorbell button is pressed. Plus the option for the guest to leave a message if I'm unable to get to the doorbell call is great. I've opted for the smart features and I love the integrated police service too. All around I am greatly satisfied with my Arlo video doorbell purchases, and I look forward to getting their line up of outdoor video cameras soon.

Very nice kit, easy to install replacing an existing doorbell button. Does not require a Hub, connects directly to your Wi-Fi. Paired up easily and has good range to my Wi-Fi router. The video and audio are clear, and the app responds quickly to a button press. I wish there was a greater vertical angle to the view as it leaves a few feet in front of my door uncovered, which compromises the package detection smart alerts. Added to my existing Arlo account and system.

This was a good value on sale for $99. It was simple and easy to install, replacing my original wired doorbell. It works as advertised so far. It connected quickly to my Arlo base station. I had considered the Ring and the Nest Hello. The Nest has the added feature of recognizing faces and packages, but is more expensive. I chose the Arlo over the Ring because I already had an Arlo base and camera, and it fit where I wanted. I am happy with it so far.

I was between the Arlo and the Ring doorbell, and i liked the look of the Arlo a lot more! More sleek, not as chunky looking as the ring, and the actual use of it is phenomonal. Favorite part is the detection of if the thing at your door is a package, animal, person, or vehicle! The installation was also very easy with a nice app interface, so overall a great product!

After extensive research I chose the Arlo Wired Doorbell. The 1x1 picture (square) is great as I can see packages left at the door along with a complete picture of the person at the door. Package ID, person ID, auto ID all work great. Installation was very easy plus it works with existing doorbell. If Arlo would shorten the lag time from from detection to notification I'd give it 5 stars. I would buy again.

So I installed this today and I like the very wide angle it provides, I used to have a ring, then went with Arlo (no camera doorbell) and I did not like that one only had issues. This new Arlo doorbell camera build in works great so far, only complaint so far is the when you hit wide screen button it does no display widescreen, hopefully a software update will fix this. Totally like this and have been waiting for it.

The clarity is good and it does well on picking up movement, but every so often that disconnects or doesn't record. You have to pay a $3 subscription fee for it to record otherwise it's just a movement notification camera. I have had it for a while and I like it and haven't had too many issues but bought one for my parents and they've had more issues but I think it's more user error although I have had to delete them and add them back to their base station because I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Overall I would recommend It's pretty solid and don't have any major complaints.

Very easy installation and app set up. The lag time between an event and receiving a notification on my phone varies, but seems to be long enough that you probably won't be able to respond to it if the event doesn't last more than 20 seconds. Camera resolution is very good as is the audio. Easy to access the video library, and easy to email a video to someone else.

Great doorbell camera for the price. I have Arlo cameras and decided to go with the Arlo over Ring. I have not been disappointed. It is easy to use, provides good user features, and the quality of video is good.

This has been a great addition to our home, installation was easy and the picture is clear. Setup was no problem either. I love the wide angle, however I do wish we had a better view closer up to the door so we could see packages set very close. I'm still on the trial for the video plan/cloud storage so once I know the pricing on that, that will influence my final thought on the product but overall would recommend.

Lots of great features, including motion detection, night vision, lights, existing doorbell tie-in, and video calling (with audio) when pressed. Installation was not without issues, but got it working. Image (1080p) is ok. Works well with the rest of our Arlo cameras and hubs in our system. Wish it was 4k like the rest of our Arlo cameras. Other than that, happy with it.

I recently purchased the Arlo Doorbell Camera to go along with the 4 camera Arlo 3 package I purchased earlier this spring. This video doorbell is easy to install and quickly links to the app. The video quality is really good and like the other cameras it allows you to set motion zones. We have been able to use it multiple times to see when packages are delivered and when friends arrived at our house. I would suggest Arlo cameras to anyone looking for an easy to use, wireless system that gives you lots of options in a high quality security camera.

Easy to set up, not hard at all (just be sure to turn off power to doorbell first). Takes a really great picture and can have fun surprising friends who walk up through speakers. I’m not sure if you can change the tune of the doorbell once installed, mine still sounds the same as my old one. It would be nice to have other options as far as the tune of the chime goes. Got this on sale along with a 4pk of Arlo outdoor cameras with spotlights. All together they allow me to keep an eye on things while away from home

Got this to replace my old Ring door bell. Mainly because I had purchased the Arlo cameras and did not to pay a subscription to two services. The video is much better than my old Ring, but it was a first generation product. This product did not work well with my existing door chimes and I was forced to purchase the Chime product to compensate.

Excellent "cheaper" option for a doorbell camera. I have own both Arlo and Nest. Both can recognize the difference between people and packages, but Arlo can also recognize pets. The viewing angle is slightly better on the Arlo but not by much. Quality is amazing, the video looks great and the sound quality is superb. Now before I started getting into doorbell cameras I always assumed they were instant, meaning when you got a notification you would just be able to speak to someone so fast. And in terms of speed, the Arlo lacks a bit. Nest allows you to view instant live view as soon as you open the app. No need to click anything else. Arlo is not that way, you need to open the app, and then select your options you want. For that reason alone I am giving this a 4 stars. Not to say it is a feature you need, it is perfectly fine and unless you buy other brands it is not something you would notice. Nest also has a feature that no other camera has at the moment, and that is face recognition. Meaning it can detect and recognize people that you can then "name" on the app, and also syncs with your google devices in the home and can then announce when someone is at the door by name. Again it is not necessary, but extra features are always nice. Bottom line Arlo is amazing and if you can get it on a sale, it is awesome and a great camera.

Purchased this to add to my 4 camera Arlo security system. Easy connection to Arlo base station and easy to install, replacing existing wired door bell. Nice quality video and wide field of view. Easy adjustments to get the coverage you want. Will pickup up street traffic over 30-40 ft. away, but can be adjusted to limit the sensitivity. Very pleased with Arlo cameras, use of App and Arlo customer support has been great. When someone presses doorbell, phone will ring instantly to answer if desired.
