These work amazingly. The battery life lasts about 3 months in my case. The only thing that’s kinda annoying are the notification features on your phone. You can only turn them off for 24hrs at a time, so every. Single. Time. It detects something, you WILL get notified. Other than that, the cameras have a bunch of features: a loud siren you can activate if you need to; a sensor light; long battery life; weather proof; night vision; it can record up to a minute or so (you can set it up). It’s very user friendly and looks great. I recommend it.

The cameras are really helpful. The only thing that annoyed us was the fact that all photos show cameras can turn and be set installed on the wall but they actually do not.

These are not good cameras for high-traffic areas unfortunately. Initially the battery lasted about a month or so but then the battery life dropped significantly and I found myself having to recharge more often and even reducing the settings so that it only records a snapshot instead of video to help save battery.
Ultimately this was not an ideal situation and totally defeated the purpose of buying cameras for me. I also think the heat negatively affected them, they started to glitch after some pretty hot days.
I do have a cam inside the house that only records at night and that’s been great, but only because it’s hardly ever triggered.
I really wanted to enjoy these cameras because I owned them back in the day and had really positive experiences with them, but unfortunately I had to switch to Ring cameras with the solar panels and it’s been an incredibly seamless transition so far.

I will give them a three because I bought the Arlo 2 and it still works great, recording to the cloud without a subscription. But I returned this one because the question and answers said it recorded the cloud without a subscription. This is not true fine. In fact, they’re all taking advantage of people now where they offered free cloud storage for seven days for free and now everybody has to pay to use their product. Free screenshots are useless.

The only negative thing i have to say is, in my situation, i needed different wall mounts. The ones that come in the box with the cameras are only good of you were setting up the cameras straight onto something. I bought the mounts that were adjustable. Just what i needed.

I love these cameras. When i first got them they would not work with my Samsung phone. It would make a terrible screeching noise when i tried to talk to anyone through them. I went through their tech support and they went above and beyond to create a firmware update to fix the issue. Have been phenomenal since. Battery lasts about a month and a half but i have a ton of traffic that goes by my house. Takes a while to fully charge. All in all great product!

Great cameras …. They do the job well…. Only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5, is because I wish they were compatible with Apples homekit app when using the Arlo bridge. Hopefully Arlo has a software update coming soon to fix this. If so I would change to 5 stars.

Video quality is great but somehow didn't pick up a black bear that was in my driveway. Also, very finicky wifi. My Google Nests have a range of over 50 feet into the yard but cameras had trouble picking up signal from 10 feet away.

great security cameras, we can monitor our house, front and back, from over 1000 miles away.crisp, sharp video and the ability to talk to whoever is on the video is a plus. Even the night view is excellent. the battery life is also excellent.

I have been using the cameras for about 45 days or so now and the battery on one of my very active cameras, with the video quality up the whole way is still at 65%!! I can’t believe how well the batteries hold their charge! Also, the quality of the videos they record is outstanding as well as having great sound quality. Would 100% buy again! Have been very impressed and well worth their cost.

Installed a few months ago. Very disappointed. The cameras themselves (design, size) are the only thing we really like. We have cameras installed on 3 sides of our home. It catches every vehicle but fails the most important activity: humans. We've tried adjusting numerous times now. The video quality is terrible. Playback is horrible. The app needs major improvement - very difficult to enlarge video when playing back or to freeze a frame. It identifies objects incorrectly (i.e. a bus is not an animal). It misses humans frequently when they are outside of our property (which is why we bought it). Difficult to connect live in a decent amount of time. We find we finally get connected live long after an incident has occurred. For a $20+ /month subscription we feel we don't get our money's worth at all. Waste of $400 dollars. Wish we would have returned.

I wanted to upgrade my original Arlo cameras and I am so happy I did. First of all, the response time is so much faster. Second, the video is so much clearer. Third, I eliminated the "hub" and everything is directly connected to my wifi.
