My whole house is protected with Arlo. Love this XL camera because it holds a charge longer than the regular essential camera and works on 2K. I recommend this Arlo camera.

ONCE YOU ADD YOU CREDIT CARD THERE IS NO PROVISION TO REMOVE YOUR CARD.
Best NOT to invest in this product. They have changed my billing amount and subscription without prior notice! I signed up for BASIC UNLIMITED at $12.99/month. Twice they billed me over that amount! Now they just deleted my plan annd without notice upgraded my plan.

Got a call from BILLING person +1 (409) 934-7094. He was a liar and insulting & abusive.
He informed me they upped their price to $19.99/month.
He offered me $199.00 one time lifetime payment. I DECLINED.
He then told me I had no wisdom. Plus informed me I declined because of my ego and continued to yell at me.
Not at all what I expected from Billing.
So, I will be looking for different cameras and cancel my service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These cameras have excellent picture and sound quality. I purchased the monthly plan to store videos.

The picture quality of this camera is great. But don’t waste your money cause it lags a lot. Plus the battery says it can run on one charge for a year; didn’t believe that. But expected it to last at least a month or two but it barely lasted 2 weeks. Wish I could return it but companies don’t give you. Big window on returns anymore. Also you can set certain zones that the camera is supposed to view but it still sends me notifications on stuff outside of the set zones.

After having purchased and used the essential outdoor cam for a week I was pleased &purchased a second one. Unfortunately I returned the second as I never was able to get it setup & working.
Now, 3 wks in on the original camera, I am frustrated & disappointed. Despite numerous trouble shooting efforts the camera no longer send feeds & alerts. I will not subscribe after the trial subscription ends.
