    After buying all Ring cameras, returning them, and then buying Arlo cameras, returning them, and landing eventually on the Google Nest ecosystem, I can honestly say that Arlo was one of the worst for one reason only: they want WAY too much money for the monthly subscription. For 3 cameras with continuous recording it was going to be around $60/mo and the quality was alright. I ended up going with Nest and i'm much happier with the product.

    Thought I would like these but couldn't get them to work and then found out I would have to buy a bridge to get them to work. Returned the 3 cameras and told the lady I can't believe The Camera company doesn't put that with the camera's

    My purchase of the Arlo cameras has been my best purchase ever! It has saved me a great deal of worry and troubles. I had someone removing items from my garage and storage and Arlo was just what I needed. Thank you!

    Not Impressed / Waste of Money

    Installed a few months ago. Very disappointed. The cameras themselves (design, size) are the only thing we really like. We have cameras installed on 3 sides of our home. It catches every vehicle but fails the most important activity: humans. We've tried adjusting numerous times now. The video quality is terrible. Playback is horrible. The app needs major improvement - very difficult to enlarge video when playing back or to freeze a frame. It identifies objects incorrectly (i.e. a bus is not an animal). It misses humans frequently when they are outside of our property (which is why we bought it). Difficult to connect live in a decent amount of time. We find we finally get connected live long after an incident has occurred. For a $20+ /month subscription we feel we don't get our money's worth at all. Waste of $400 dollars. Wish we would have returned.

    hit or miss new gen cams

    after every upgrade arlo cams are getting worse - first gen cams from 2018 are still working like a champ and my favs -- but some new gen cams are not working out of the box - it is hit or miss - why built in batteries??? cause you want us every time take the cam inside and charge it all day and place it back to where it was installed ? instead with having extra batteries we could easily replace the batteries outside where the cams are - and no need to bring them back inside to charge -- not smart arlo you grow cause you dont have competitor !! not because you are good

    Ok. Probably wouldn’t buy again

    They’re ok. I wish the lens moved around like my Ring so I can see peripherals and the battery doesn’t last long. I don’t have a subscription so I don’t get alerts but I check it periodically and the battery is dying already. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

    Not worth the money - local storage not supported

    It was not clear when purchased, but the only recording capability is with an expensive monthly plan. Doesn’t support local usb recordings with a smart hub.

    Ive had a few different systems and this has to be hands down the slowest with the most lag time.it takes roughly 5 mins to connect to live. Ill get notifications and then when I try to check them on the feed nothing will show up the app and the cameras are terrible do not buy Ring was better unfortunately
