I have mine outside and it lasts. Battery life pretty good too. You can set it to emergency and it will alert u through app and you can sound the alarm. Its very loud high pitch sound. Authories will be alerted as well nd footage saved. Hd camera very good quality

Power on camera, download app, connect to WIFI, name the camera, let it install an update, and you instantly see a live feed. Takes several hours to charge, but lasts over 2 weeks. Can't save and review video without paying, but we don't need that right now.
