At this point, we've made the full commitment to cut the cord from our traditional security/cable provider and honestly, it's been pretty seamless. We had a minor hiccup installing the hub, but that had nothing to do with the equipment or the service - it was our WiFi. Make sure you're not operating a mesh network/using extender pods as setup requires a 2.4Ghz WiFi network. I also had an issue with my iPhone14 - we had to use my wife's iPhone12 - but this is not the first time I've had issues with my phone - so I think it's isolated to my phone. We haven't had to use the monitoring service yet - I hope to never have to - but all the sensors are in and functioning perfectly. Thanks again for offering the exact same thing we had with our old provider for less than half the cost!

So this item was just average for me. I'm not invested in anything Arlo, and wouldn't recommend this unless you are invested, or plan to be, in their cams and doorbell options. Overall the setup was fairly easy, connecting to WiFi and opening the app to get started was a fairly seamless process. The functionality works as far as I can tell. I have one setup for a motion sensor in my sunroom, and the second setup on my daughters window. Overall it's an ok starter kit, but I'd prefer to have additional sensors, of which it looks like you can have 5 total, so that may prove to be a problem, depending on your setup if you need more. The mounting of the sensors is very easy, and doesn't require drilling, while also being a nice all-in-one for smoke, temp, water, motion, etc. My main gripe comes from the subscription you need for this to fully function. I understand pretty much all security systems require subscription fees in today's day, but it's still an annoyance and additional fee. Overall, if you're invested in Arlo already, or plan to be with their cameras which are supposedly amazing, then this makes sense. If you're not, then I'm not sure it does. No qualms on quality or functionality, just compatibility and having everything cohesive.

It was a little difficult to find WiFi settings it would work with. The sensors work well. Software covers everything but is not as intuitive as I would prefer. Dashboard doesn't work for me and neither does the geofencing. Those things aside, once it's up and running, the system seems to be smooth and works well.

Easy set up, no contract, fast installation, works great

I love the versatility of the sensors and how they can be used for motion, doors and windows opening, or water. The thought that has gone into this system is incredible. The base station is easy to use but the app is my hub and it's great to have my whole system in one place. I feel much safer and can monitor my house from anywhere.

Have been a Arlo camera customer for many years and recently introduced to the Alarm System for Windows/Doors. Easy to setup and definitely a great alternative to other competitors who have become so expensive and customer service has diminished significantly

I really really like this system however im planning out a smart home. Therefore, I will not waisting time and money waiting to see if the company will or will not support smart home integrations. Specifically homekit. As an honest review, this platform is pretty awesome. The all in one sensors are small and barely noticible. The system is very fast. However, I couldn’t find any information on wether ARLO will support homekit integration. I wanted to like it and did but ultimately had to return the product as there was no integration. Word of advice to Arlo, stand alone devices aren’t going to be the future.

Received my order promptly and setup was a walk in the park. I was able to add this system to my existing outdoor cameras with no problem. Contacted support desk for an issue I was having, and they were able to guide me, so my issue is now resolved. Loving this system so far. Very user friendly and would highly recommend this product.

Exactly what we wanted. We love Arlo. Have had Arlo camera for years, and now added this security system with one Pro5S camera. It's an easy and intuitive set-up, give us the confidence that our home and family are safe, and the Pro5S camera is extremely clear video. Going ot add more cameras.

The all-in-one sensors are really easy to install and use. Since it’s all the same device - can rinse and repeat installation throughout the house!

The setup was really easy and it’s very intuitive. I like all the options and it integrated really well with my existing Arlo products. All the various uses of the sensors make them very versatile.

I don't have much cause to manage mode settings and have safe features, but the additional secure video cam network helps me extend range into my backyard without another AP. Combined with the 8 functions of the bundled sensor, this suffices me well for a home monitoring system.
