I've bought some other mounts and you definitely should spend the extra money to get an actual Arlo mount. The off-brand mounts don't stay in place and are difficult to point correctly.

I recommend using this mount for outside cameras. I used the magnetic mount out front, but now I worry about someone jumping up and knocking it off. The white color blends right in with my house's white trim, making the camera and mount hard to see from a far.

I was able to quickly mount my camera and position it where I needed it.

Held up through the wind and rain in the summer. Taking them down for the winter however, as we get low temps that effect the operation of these cameras. But these mounts do what you want and don’t feel flimsy.

This is a nice solid mount for the camera. Does what we need it to do.

The metal supports work so much better than plastic supports that come with the camera.

We had a regular magnetic mount on an outdoor camera, and after a week, a large bird sat on it and it immediately pointed straight down. So, we replaced the mount with this one and have no more problems.

This is essential for mounting the camera outside. If you use the wind guard adapter because you are using a solar panel, attaching the camera to the mount is a little tricky as the stud on the mount tends to spin.

This mount was a little finicky at first, but after working with if for a few minutes I was able to angle my camera just the way I wanted it to be and keep it securely fastened out of reach of people who may want to tamper with it. The mount is strong and combined with the outdoor power cable and wind protector with an extension my Arlo 2 camera is powered and protected, which keeps my house monitored and protected. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to mount their Arlo 2 camera outdoors.

The mount for the Arlo Pro works well and adjusts at any angle.

The camera mount for outdoors is exactly as advertised. It is of high quality, but is more expensive than it should be for what it is. I don't understand why an outdoor camera does not come with an outdoor camera mount to begin with.

The camera doesn’t screw until completely right, it hits a point where it’s too tight and will start to loose if you keep turning. I got it to a tight point that stays. Wind or rain doesn’t seem to effect it. Does what I need it to do.
