Quick set up security system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cameras are Battery powered, batteries are very expensive (123A) 3volt lithium batteries. The cameras require 4 of these batteries. The batteries last an impressive amount of time. The app shows the battery life in each camera which is a plus. The cameras are controlled by Bluetooth network, therefore if you lose power to the network your cameras will be non- operative. The motion sensor feature is also wonderful.

Arlo Wireless Camera Performance

Motion detection requires seconds to kick on and often loses subject as it moves off screen or only catches a glimpse of it. Better for indoor applications than outside due to vehicle traffic in front of house. Lots of trial and error for placement due to false triggers from traffic outside.

Good for daylight

Night vision is terrible, the camera is able to sense motion but you cannot see anything on the recording. Battery life is also not great, you will need to play around with the sensitivity levels to find the optimum battery life, for me this was after 2 years of use
