We really like our ARLO system and purchased two additional cameras. One came DOA. Took over 30 days to get an RMA replacement, then they didn't include the battery. . . still waiting. . .

Awful. I have all Netgear stuff so I figured this would be seamless. TERRIBLE! The WiFi signal on these are terrible. Took forever to get live video on my phone that had strong WiFi signal. Sometimes he camera just wouldn’t connect making having them pointless. After a few months the picture turned red, like some filter lens got stuck. After researching I discovered this was a common problem. Poor customer support as well. STAY AWAY.

I already have 2 of the regular Arlo outdoor wireless cameras and they work great. I figured Id give the pro version a try since it had audio and rechargeable batteries. When it did record it had very bad lag time and the video was worthless due to bad pixelation and ghosting issues. It was also much closer to the base station than the non-pro cameras. Multiple reboots and resets did not help so I returned for a regular Arlo wireless camera. It works great by the way.

For some reason, the video it takes is only 10sec. Also the video is choppy and the person seems to disappear or freezes and then appears again.

The camera was a 3rd add-on and kept going offline. I called Netgear's customer care several times, after long waits, I was informed to reset router and link camera with base station. I got tired of calling Netgear and resetting router, etc. on my own. So, returned the camera to Best Buy, but encountered more drama--will leave that for another review.

THE MAIN CONCERN IS IN LESS THAN A MONTH THE CAMERAS ARE DISCONNECTED FROM THE STATION 3 TIMES AND AT THAT TIME YOU DONT HAVE ACCES TO YOUR HOME, WHEN YOU GET A HOME YOU HAVE TO UNPLUG THE STATION CABLE AND PLUGGED AGAIN. THE BATTERY LIFE FOR NOW IS GOOD , I HAVE FULL BARS IN MY 3 CAMERAS, ALSO THE MOTION DETECTION SOME TIMES IS NO ACCURATE, IN THE OTHER HAND, ITS EASY TO INSTALL AND THE VIDEO QUALITY ITS DECENT BUT NOTHING CRAIZY, NETGEAR NEED TO IMPROVE THIS SYSTEM AND MADE 1080P VIDEO RECORDER

Not working may have to return. My first camera is working as expected not this one.

I cannot say enough about this camera. I have an apartment, so I was looking for an easy to set up & use system to keep things safe. This camera has been great so far. I've been using it for a little less than a month, and so far have no problems. I've pushed the specs (highest picture quality/record for 30 seconds/motion sensor always on) to try and get a good sense for battery life. So far the batteries have held up extremely well. I would say that this is a must buy for anyone looking for a wireless security camera set up.

I was looking for a security camera system for my RV, it had to be wireless and the cameras had to be out side. Arlo was the only one that fit the bill. Easy set up, no wires, great field of view. Batteries lasted 10 days set on the highest sensitivity level, set to a normal level they should have a good service life. Works great with Iphone 6, everytime something moved, I knew it and had a video of it!!

This is my third purchase of a wireless security camera set. The Arlo brand is by far the best, picture is super clear, built in night vision, and motion works great. I have now bought 7 camera and set them around the house. Can check in any time with the app and get notifications on my phone when there is motion. Glad I finally found the Arlo brand cameras

I would like to give more stars however, when one pays a lot of money for electronics you expect to get working batteries. Upon installing batteries in the camera it showed only 1 bar left of battery life. Camera works great but upset that I have to already replace the batteries. Returning to the store for replacement is too much hassle.

The Arlo Netgear camera is great looking very slick, compact plus its wireless despite of its positive attributes this Arlo camera fall very deep into the tech disposal that need more time to marinate. The negative side are the battery are terrible every 3 mons or 4 mons if your lucky you need to change the camera battery and its $ 20 per 3-4 mons times number of camera which I have 4 camera $80 times 1 year = $240 this is the amount you spend for this camera its more expensive than Vivint or ADT monitor camera. No sound capability, night vision is ok, recording is worst you only got the back of the person after the video start recording, the notice is delay for notifying the owner, no zoom, features are hard to set-up and configure, no tilt, pan and rotate function. In short this camera is a glorified wireless camera and that's the only highlight and the rest need more refining specially the battery life this will drain your pocket at the end unless your pocket is fat enough to sustain buying every 3 mons $20 battery time how many camera you got. This camera is not compatible to netgear router nighthawk AC1900.

Convenient, no wires, eats batteries, on a 1 to 10 on reliability I'll give it an 8. I will buy more to add to my system.

The Arlo system is great, reliable & easy to use. Getting additional cameras like this is very easy to add to the existing system. The image quality is crystal clear. I use the app on my iPhone, iPad & AppleTV. You can view the cameras from anywhere. The motion detection is great.

After purchasing this device for my front door to keep track of the traffic, i must say that this is the worst camera i could haven't gotten, i would advice anyone to stay away from this, the prices of the batteries are $15 , just for two, $30 for four, you have to buy batteries every month, (you do the math) i went out and purchased rechargeable batteries but you have to charge them every two weeks. i would say to anyone looking to purchase a camera look elsewhere, it will save you a heartache.

Bought Arlo after home break in. The cameras are completely wireless and you need about 3 to have a good system for outside use. You get notified of an alert instantly. I love them.

Arlo camera is a great security guard for your home, I feel secure at night knowing that its on .

these cameras are great for areas that cannot be wired. a few drawbacks, but I can live with them

Just click on base unit (don't hold it down) and everything works fine.
