The sales associate did not know what she was doing and sold me solar chargers that did not work with the cameras. I had to return the chargers for different ones and they don't work either. I called and the rep said the chargers are not designed to keep the cameras fully charged. The cameras are mounted up high and are a pain to take down and charge.

Also, although the Arlo Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged, heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it. The 2-watt Arlo Solar Panel is designed to provide year-round trickle charging to keep your Arlo camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full.

The main problem is that this company has no telephone support, everything from tech support to warranty service has to be done online and they wait a long time to respond. The back-and forth has taken days, and still no resolution. Don't buy anything from them.

Get damaged by sun and rain

It’s a trickle charger not a charger. Battery dead
