Four of them are no longer charging the cameras to which they are attached. I contacted Arlo, and they didn't seem to have a solution.

This is the whole purpose of me purchasing this solar panel. Please someone send the geek squad or someone contact me . ASAP! It was working, but it just stop!

Good in theory, poor longevity...

The solar panel worked flawlessly for 12 months then started to cause the Arlo camera to disconnect... The solar panel ultimately causses the Arlo camera to factory reset and stops responding to the app. I tested the panel on 3 of my other cameras and had the same error occur. The Arlo forums are riddled with posts related to cameras hard resetting when hooked up to the solar panel, yet Arlo will not post a fix. So, you are buying a $60.00 solar panel that will fail within 12-18 months of purchase.

I have the essential camera so I needed an adapter USB C to micro I believe to get it plugged in. It will not charge the camera. Arlo could do a better job in developing one solar panel to cover all cameras.

Buyer beware - Arlo Mounted Solar Panel Charger

Warranty was for one (1) year. No longer charges my Floodlight. I tried to communicate with a Customer service agent and their robot said that my warranty expired and to go to their FAQ page for support. I would look elsewhere for a security system.

Not worth the high price

I wish there were alternative ways to hang this as well. I was not to crazy about having to drill holes in the side of my home to support this device.

Waste of money.

It is in a location that gets direct sun for about 7 hours a day, but I am still changing out the battery as often as I was before I installed the solar panel. This camera is not activating anymore than the three that do not have a solar panel, but the battery is not lasting any longer than the three without it. The settings on all my cameras are identical, so it would make sense that the one with the solar panel should be getting better battery life than the other three and longer life than it was getting before the solar panel was installed. Waste of 50 bucks.

A must and not in a good way
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given the battery life is 3-5 days with only the big 3 (vehicle, person, animal) enabled, there is a systemic product liability, especially for older folks or those who cannot climb a ladder every 3-5 days to replace a dead battery. If you get Arlos, you must include this in the price, as changing batteries more than once a week is absurd. Arlo has had many years to improve but failed to do so. This is a "bandaid" on a poor product.
