The pros is that the wireless setup made it easy especially when your home is hard to fish and wire through walls, gets good quality videos even at 720p, app is easy to use and change settings. The cons can be the battery life lasts maybe 2 to 3 months depending on how often it records or runs on. Parts that worry me is if the internet goes out. it can be easy for someone to take it. Yes it will record the thief but I would still be down a hundred per camera and how likely would it be to catch a person. Overall. It is a good quality system and does what it advertises.

These cameras have been great! We have even managed to catch someone trying to break into our cars on them. I love that they have rechargeable batteries, and a very clear picture with 2 way audio.

I found the cameras easy to install and the internet connection simple to get hooked up. I was a little hesitant to go with a wireless camera but so far they both work great, even in winter weather.

Setup is simple with the included instructions. The picture and sound quality are good. It's nice that Arlo provides 7 days of storage for free (other companies charge subscription fees). The magnetic camera mounts make it easy to take the cameras down to charge, but difficult to get the camera to point anywhere other than straight ahead. I would have preferred more of the screw-in mounts. Stored videos are accessed quickly in the app, but sometimes the live feed takes a long time to load or doesn't load at all.

Have had the arlo system for several years and it just keeps getting better. Control from your computer or smartphone. The pro has sound and motion detection. Very easy to setup and operate.

These are great cameras, nice step up from the regular arlo. Faster motion sensing only thing I’m upset about is the delay you get with the two way audio.

Setup and instructions are easy to follow. The netgear app is actually really good and allows control, battery life monitoring, and customized settings. You can also talk through the app to people near your camera, although audio could be better and there is a delay of a few seconds. Overall this surveillance system is really good.

the Arlo pro is a quality security system . it works good and does what it is supposed to do. its easy to install and use and I feel a lot more secure with it watching my property. I am thinking of adding more cameras

Needed cams for doors and nanny cam it's perfect for what I need. To be able to get audio and it's weather proof is great. The video quality is more than what I need. The batteries last forever and setup was too easy

Got a great deal on Black Friday - it works great. Easy to use - good video - love the cloud storage - only change would be to allow a single user to have Arlos at multiple sites without changing a user ID.

These cameras are easy to setup and to use. The picture and sound recordings are clear. The entire system is user friendly and easy to control with your phone.

Installation was too easy and the wireless nature of this system allowed me to place cameras in areas that I would have not been able to, had I chosen to go with a wired system. The ridiculously long battery life of the rechargeable Li-Ion batteries allows this system to have a very low user maintenance cycle. Combine all of this with a very modest free cloud storage account and nearly instant e-mail and text alerts and there's really nothing else left to think about. If I were to ding the Arlo Pro system for a single thing, it would be that I wish it was a 1080 HD system, instead of the 720 HD system that it is. I can only imagine that the next iteration of this camera system will probably account for this. If/when it does, I will be upgrading immediately!

I've only had it for a few days and given that I almost spent $500 for a two cam, I was expecting it to be a very good product. Pros: Set up was easy as others have stated. Cons: It does not feel like a $500 product. The base is really light and feels cheap. The magnetic ball is a waste as it only allows attachment to the back so you can only get a straight view so side mount is not possible. But so far, my most frustration is that it's so unreliable. It consistently signs me out and when you're signed out, you don't get notification until you log back in. So even if it detects motions, it doesn't notify you until you log back. Which makes it useless because if someone was in your home, you would not even know until you log in next time and find out, if you're not already killed by then. Also, it doesn't detect motions all the time. So far, I'm getting about 50% detection, which again makes it useless because at 50%, that's really not much of security. I'm just walking around it and sometimes I even come straight up to it and only half of the time, it detects me. Also, it loses signals consistently, where none of my other products (ipad, cell phone, cpu) loses signals. So far, it's just frustration and offers no peace of mind. I'm gonna give it a few days but it it's this unreliable, there is no point to owning something that only works sometime.

Easy to install great picture and works great at night

For the price the Arlo Pro system delivers good quality images. Works well in the rain, however the night time images could be better. Battery life is around 10 weeks between charges when not on full record mode. Good range available when located some distance from the wifi router. Needs a better sync between audio responses, about a 2 second lag between when someone speaks to the camera and when you actually hear what they are saying. Charging cable is a bit funky, not a standard usb cable. Overall for the price it works well.

Fantastic product, high quality camera and good app support. Easy to install in minutes. One downfall is battery charging, but they seem to last pretty long.

Pretty decent security cameras. Set up was fairly easy and the pictures are clear. The directions are basic and they don't really go into a lot of detail for troubleshooting--for example, I upgraded to a new modem and I couldn't get the base to interact with it and could not find details on how to solve this problem...it just one day decided to interact. Another problem is that I bought a separate system to use in a rental house and I can't use my same iPhone to track. They don't tell you why except that on the forum they just say you have to upgrade--that really stinks.

Great, easy to use camera system. Love being able to see activity from my phone. Let’s me know when the kids get home from school, when teenage boys come to visit and when a teenager tries to sneak out at night. Gives this mom some peace of mind.
