I love this camera. Arlo makes an amazing product. Problem is that obtrusive box that you are required to attach to your internet connection. All around this product is amazing. I just wish that the box was gone or substantially smaller.

Needed a wireless solution for a security camera where no electrical outlet existed. Serves my purpose as needed. It has motion detection and sends a text to my phone within seconds of being activated. It only records 10 seconds of that motion. It can be switched on to watch real time activity. Runs on rechargeable battery with a claim of lasting for 6 months. Mine has been going for about 6-8 weeks and still shows almost full charge. It also has sound so you can hear what is going on as well. I will be adding additional cameras to this system.

This is an excellent product - it's hands down best wireless option (though extremely limited competition accordingly). so convenient!! great quality. i haven't had the issue with audio that others complained about, it's not a two way radio but it's actually quite convenient and sounds clear to me. it's a tiny bit clunky or delayed when you're trying to view live feed or send/receive audio but overall it's easily at parity with current technology. so far batteries have lasted wonderfully, been running several weeks now and barely show any battery usage.

The Arlo system is very sensitive and can detect motions of large subjects such as human, large dogs, or cars, but its field of detection is limited (less than 30 degrees or even narrower?). Therefore the buyer should let the installer know clearly the areas he/she is most interested. I question the durability because one the four Arlo cameras BestBuy installed for us less than two months ago is already not working at all, This issue will be brought up to BestBuy - and we hope that BestBuy will fix the problem when the weather gets better, (The outside temperature in the Chicago area has been in the teens, single digits, or even subzero for many days.)

This is an easy system to set up and operate. It allows for free monitoring and storage of images for up to 5 cameras. A subscription is required for more cameras and storage space which is a nice option to have if you need it. Programmable for scheduled monitoring/recording or motion activated anytime or just login and monitor with no recording. Has sound and microphone, night vision, video and still frame imagery, good quality images. Inconspicuous and good mounting options; batteries last a long time. Images can be downloaded if desired. Overall an excellent system and easy to use. Software is easy to use on Smartphone, tablets, computers, and can be shared with others so they can monitor cameras too if desired.

The ARLO wireless system is very easy to set up and use. The cameras are EXCELLENT The batteries so far have lasted two months with 75 percent charge left while operating 24 hours per day. The only issue was that the original batteries with the system had a 60 per cent charge failure rate out f the box. Batteries wer replaced immediately by Best Buy with no additional issues. I own a six camera system, four cameras being mounted outdoors. I recommend purchasing at least one spare battery just in case. Overall I'm VERYcpleased with the system.

I am liking the placement everywhere, the wireless distance is very good, setup is very easy, image quality is very good. I dont like that it seems to miss the motion sometimes, so i miss what happened right before the motion. I have had nest and ring cameras as well which avoid this problem but come with thier own draw backs (high cost/ use of network (nest), have to plug in (both), and less help app (ring). In all i think the true wireless is worth the trade off and recommend the arlo pro cameras.

Purchased this to replace our non pro cameras and it was well worth the upgrade. The lag time has improved significantly over the non-pros. Personal testing yielded almost a 4 second difference. That is a pretty large difference for a truly wireless setup. The 2 way talking featuring is excellent and surprisingly the camera's microphone picks up ALOT of sound. I can hear our mailman's music from his phone when he delivers our mail. The rechargeable batteries last much longer than the non pro's CR123a and with 8 plus cameras around the house batteries started to get expensive.The batteries recharge quickly and even on record quality set to excellent they last about 3 months with high traffic with a full 1 minute record time. External storage recording has finally arrived with the base station. So now everything can be on a usb drive without you having to worry about netgear deleting it from the cloud. Overall I highly recommend this product.

Overall good picture quality! However, the app seems a little wonky when in geo-fencing mode (possible android issue). It constantly alerts me saying "needs internet connection on this device"... its a cell phone, of course it does.

Bought these for my home and cottage. These things are amazing. Easy to setup, and batteries last at least a month. Great way to monitoring things when you are away. Motion detection works surprisingly well.

I had a breakin about a month ago and decided to get security cameras for outside. I wanted wire free and the arlo cameras seemed the best option. That aspect is great. I started with the arlo and it would start recording after the event was over so I switched to the arlo pro. It's a little better but I still loose all of the front end of what I want to record. Some times it's super sensitive and records every car that drives by my house and some times it doesn't detect them. Someone can park in front of my house and get all the way to the front door sometimes before it starts recording. Haven't figured out how to get the sensitivity such that it starts closer to the time when the action starts yet doesn't react every time a leaf moves in the wind.I'm going to try the arlo q and see if it is better.

Cameras work well, nice picture, easy to setup with the app. Battery life is acceptable, depends on how much motion is detected. 5 months is not out of the question but I think 3 months is more realistic.

Arlo cameras are simple and reliable no matter how cold or hot it gets. These cameras pick up great motion and decent picture quality. I only charge the batteries every 6-8 weeks!

Set up was a cinch. I upgraded wireless routing to accommodate system and updated internet speed from 20mbps to 100mbps for this and other devices added over the last couple of years. I wish that the cameras were 1080 rather than 720. Especially outside and at night. During the day I have no complaints. Also they need more beige options for mounts. Did not my multi battery charger for now. Holds charge pretty well. Haven't played with it much after set up but plan to. App use is simple, issues with geofencing. I would buy it again.

Quick setup with Wifi. Easy monitoring on app. Allows multiple people to have monitoring/viewing privileges. Good video and 2 way audio. Very loud motion activated alarm. Small and inconspicuous.

The arlo pro camera and base station work really well. I was concerned with having a rechargeable battery but with the technology of the base station the cameras actually use very little battery. Another plus is the free 7 days of recordings which with others you have to buy some sort or subscription. A+

The Arlo cameras the only truly wireless camera that I have found. They work well and the pictures are fine. I bought a set that said they were wireless but each one had to be wired with electricity.

If you are looking for a wire-free video security system, this is the only one to buy. Set up is simple, straight forward and accomplished in a limited time. Cameras can be placed virtualy anywhere around your home. One of mine is mounted on the backside of an outdoor fireplace to monitor the end of my driveway - can't do this with a wired camera. Signal strength is excellent. In comparison to FLIR systems that utilize wifi but require a wire for power, the Arlo is superior. FlIR video quality is better which is my only concern with Arlo. FlIR system wouldn't stay connected to my network and FlIR cameras can only. E placed near outlets. Arlo batterie life is surprisingly good with no issues to date.

This is my second set of 4 Arlo-Pro cameras. Easy to set up and work great. Love the versatility of their placement, especially the fact they are wireless and have long-life rechargeable batteries.

I've had my system now for approximately four months and I haven't had any issues. It works very well, keeps me informed of when the batteries require charging, the audio and picture is great as well.
