This camera system runs off your home WiFi. As long as it’s working, then the camera system will work. If you want to have continuos recording, then you’ll need the upgraded Arlo Pro 2 as this system only activated on motion.

I would highly recommended the Arlo Pro. After a full charge (that usually takes about 2 hours) it lasts about 3-4 months before I have to charge it again. All the cameras are used outside, and are set to record for 30 seconds once it detects motion. Of course you can change any of these settings.

Works great! Super simple setup and camera mounting. Very easy to configure and really good images. Battery life has been great so far. Will purchase a third camera soon to cover even more areas.

Super easy setup and excellent image quality. Love the app alerts and the ability to control alerts for individual cameras. For example, when I'm home I set alerts only for my driveway and front door, but when I'm away I set alerts for the indoor and backyard cameras as well. Alerts are instant and give me a quick live view of the motion it dectected. I am also impressed with the free cloud based recording storage. It's rare to find a security system that will save your videos for free. It is very intuitive and is a no brainer to setup. I've owned my system for about 9 months now and have only had to charge the batteries once so far. Couldn't be happier with my Arlo Pro system.

Great WiFi security camera. It was so easy to install and program. Picture/video quality is good and can be viewed on a mobile device from anywhere. The two way audio is great, I can remind my son to turn off the lights when the monitor detects that there is motion/sound in the room. So far so good.

I was looking for a product with a camera and voice combined. This works great. The motion sensing is a little late a times, but I have the sensitivity turned down. Batteries last about a month to six weeks depending on what settings you have them set at. To use the AP with your phone, you must speak into the phone with it held up to your head. So, you cannot continue to look at the screen and talk at the same time. One the computer, you can look at the screen and talk. Nice clear picture. Easy to set up and easy to recharge.

The camera its self is very good, but the software is not good at all. My main issue is the fact there is no auto brightness. The canera has auto nightgown but cat adjust it's brightness causing me to manually go in every day and night if I want to see anything. And the tipping point is i came home one night and the alarm was going off on the hub and is insanely loud, which is good, but I have no idea why or when it went off. Will be returning

Did a lot of research on security cams before buying and glad I picked up this security camera and I can say that I made a good investment. Best thing I like about it is that its wire-free! Very easy to install and love the app that's free. Works very well when i'm on the road. The app is very intuitive and easy friendly to use. Although the only con I would say is you would have to recharge the batteries when need to, but oh well at least its rechargeable. The siren that comes with it is extremely loud, like that a lot. So far, its been 3 weeks and no complaints. Battery levels are still holding good so far at around 80%-90% charge after 3 weeks. BIG TWO THUMBS UP!!

Easy install. In less than an hour we were totally done hanging, syncing, app searching - everything. Monitor on your phone from anywhere in the world. Live feed, ability to talk to people at your house, take live pictures, or let the motion activation take it's 10 second video snippets. There's even an ear shattering alarm if someone gets in your house you can set off. Inside cameras available too. *Outdoor cameras give warnings in cold weather about the battery being cold but they still work, so we're not sure what that's about.

So glad I accidentally found these cameras on sale at Best Buy. They were super easy to set up and install. I did have to toggle with the sound & movement to not get a notification for the slightest sound, but have it all figured out. Great clear view, easy to set up and monitor away from home!

This is my first set of security cameras, but let me say that I am more than satisfied. They were super easy to set up, the app is very user friendly, and they work extremely well giving you notifications on your phone or apple watch when there is motion or noise detected. This was a huge selling point for me because my wife is deaf and needs the phone/watch notification. My only critique is that it takes several clicks to silence the notifications, you have to open the app, click on mode, then switch the mode etc. Ring on the other hand gives you an immediate option silencing notifications for 30 minutes etc when an alert goes off.

The Arlo system was easy to install and I put up the cameras one afternoon. The system has been working great and the picture quality is wonderful. I like the alerts and the cloud plus USB recording available. I have been able to see what is happening at the house from work with no problems.

Excellent camera but camera battery does not last long. With heavy traffic, only last a month. But overall its great, very easy to install, its wireless, waterproof, you can talk to it via the app, etc... great product

After Canary decided to start charging, I was forced to find a replacement device and Arlo fit the bill. I will be buying the Arlo Q inorder achieve better video quality for inside and I'll move the Pro to the outdoors.

Works great and crystal clear images and videos. Set up simple with easy to follow instructions. We love that you can adjust the sensitivity for when it comes on and records and you can adjust how long it records. You can zoom in on live and there is also a microphone. Easy set up on phone, though beware that you do get kicked off when someone else logs in on their phone. You can delete videos from your phone but I have found it easier to log in on computer and there is a select all. Charging is quick and easy and there is also a camera positioning tab that allows you to place camera in almost real time. Overall, it is the best electronic that we have purchased in a long time.

I purchased this as a supplement to my existing security system. It was easy to set up and it's been reliable to use. The only downside is the delay between the time someone comes into camera range and the time I am notified on my app. There also is a bit of a delay caused by buffering when I go to look at the live view. I understand this isn't unique to this product. You can add up to 10 cameras, which is great.

It was easy to set up. One of the cameras did not synk. Called customer service they walked me through trouble shooting it, but it still did not work. They had me send it in and they sent me a new one which works fine

Quick easy setup. VERY user friendly! The app is easy to set-up and gives you easy-to-use options to run/view your security system. We really love the option to schedule when we want our system to run. Video is sharp and clear, even at night! I like that you can see both cameras when you bring up the app, and can click on one to make the screen larger for easier viewing. The only change I would suggest for this system is to make the audio volume louder. We purchased a system for ourselves, my parents, and both of our children for Christmas. They all love their systems as much as we do. We all have different needs and this system covers them all!

Incredibly clear images, easy to install, and love the ease of use. Would definitely recommend the purchase of this item, and have several friends now purchasing the same system. Love it!

I was able to get this camera up and running and integrated with my Samsung Smarthings in no time. It works well, battery life is so far great (only charged it once). It does a great job.
