The best features about Arlo is that it is wireless if you need it to be, wired if you prefer that way, and the best feature is that it comes with free 7 days video monitoring on motion. I originally had nest, which is great on the 30 day trial, but when that goes away you have to pay for ongoing video which renders the cameras useless. The arlo also gives you usb backup which is nice. I plugged in 1 TB hard drive and now it stores everything, not just 7 days. The only area, in my opinion, Nest wins in is video quality. The Arlo Pro has good video but it's not as clear as the Nest. The Geofencing on the app works well.

System is great! Looks nice, clear picture and sound incoming, for some reason can’t hear outgoing sound from cameras, simple app setup, battery life lasted about a week on the 2 busy cameras and 3 weeks for the other 2. Definitely going to look into getting solar panels for the 2 that catch the most movement on our busy street because would be worth not having to climb a latter to get them down to charge constantly. Haven’t installed the flood lights yet but was a steal to get as a package deal!

Great cameras. Notification feature is very handy. Overall clear picture day/night. The only downfall is when sun is directly into camera because it doesn't provide a good image.

I bought this system to stream from my mother's house who is now 100 years old. I can make sure she is alright and the caregivers are taking good care of her. It really gives me piece of mind. Easy set up and I use the app on my phone to check live streaming or videos in the library. We plan on getting another system to put in our horse barn to monitor our horses and cats. Works great during the day and night. Quality video.

This system is great. Be sure to pair the cameras before adding the base station onto you’re wireless network. The directions are backwards. We returned the original system because tech support stated we had a faulty base station. However we got home with the new exchanged system and had the same problem. I paired the cameras before adding the base station to our network and boom, up and running within minutes. I spent hours troubleshooting, so save yourself some time and do opposite of the steps in the directions. Solid system otherwise but couldn’t give it 5 stars because of all the wasted time due to incorrect directions provided.

I wanted something to cover all 4 doors to my house without having to run POE through the attic. This was so easy to install and it works great. The server works great for alerts and the quality of video is very good. Overall great product!!!

It’s a pretty awesome security system but there’s a little room for improvement. The sound and video capture, which is super awesome, but the video is choppy sometimes and lags.

Have had them for a month and still have 70 percent charge quality is ok and motion detection is really good picks up everything

This system was extremely easy to set up, done in just a few short minutes. From box to fully functional in about 10 minutes, which included mounting the cameras. Video quality is extremely clear, even at night. Very happy with this purchase.

We were using Arlo-Pro for about 6 months and now bought it for another location. Very reliable, easy to install and use, supports multiple locations. Not a real HD though. For that you have to buy Arlo-Pro 2, which is more expensive today.

I jumped into the wireless camera arena after some items were stolen from my yard. I am impressed by the camera quality video resolution and the fact that audio is included. I adjusted the amount of time the cameras record ,and also adjusted the video quality. The motion detection works very well sensitive enough to catch the neighborhood cats creeping along my yard.One warning if using Microsoft 10 with edge browser things don't work well. Apple devices Great. Android good Arlo apps work well . Will probably work well with Apple phone and Androids.

These cameras are very easy to install and set up and the picture quality is very clear. I bought a four pack for indoor/outdoor use. My family is extremely satisfied. The only complaint that I have is the app for my phone. My husband and I both check in on the dogs during the day with the iPhone app. Only 1 person can log in at a time. If I'm logged in and my husband tries to login at the same time it will log me out. Other than that we love the cameras.

I wanted a moderately priced WIRELESS camera. Arlo gives me that. It has a clear, wide angle shot that I can check on my phone or computer from anywhere. Wireless means freedom to put it anywhere & also makes it more discreet. There are 3 different motion sensitivity settings. I advise the medium setting, unless you want your pets to trigger it. Have had the unit for month & still haven't had to charge it. My only negative about the unit is the interface. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to arm. So if in a hurry, give yourself an extra 5 minutes.

The camera is very practical and the instructions easy to follow, it does not take me more than fifteen minutes to connect it and be able to visualize everything I want to see, especially for the safety of my home and the care of babies

I read the reviews and there where lots of positive reviews, so I decided to get it. The Arlo is so easy to set up. Everything was self explanatory. I really liked the fact that it's wireless. I have the cameras at different spots in the house and outside without the hassle of having wires all over the place. The mounting is very easy to do as well. You can even place the cameras on any flat surface. The Arlo Plus has a microphone. You can hear as well as talk. I can see what my dog is doing on days I'm out and about and can talk to him.

System is working very good. Battery life is a little less than advertised but not significantly. Have had problems with camera placement due to it detecting my flag on my front porch flapping in the wind. Have repositioned the camera a few times and my flag and adjusted the sensitivity of the motion detection and I think I finally have it set to not get false positives. Great system and very easy to use. Highly recommend it.

Able to easily set up this system in no time using my iPad. Don't mess with the Pan & Zoom feature because it also messes up the night vision sensor. So leave the camera at its default wide angle view. On PC, use Chrome browser. Internet Explorer & Edge work too, but some features might be missing. Would be perfect if resolution was 1080p.

We have had it for about a month now and so far so good. The video quality is outstanding!!! This was our second set because the first one came with a broken camera but BB replaced it right away. I am very satisfied with this product!!

This is my 3rd MBP that I've purchased from Best Buy since I first switched away from PC more than 9 years ago. I was extremely hesitant about this particular purchase because of Apple decision to no longer allow us to upgrade the ram and the hdd by soldering them onto the main boards. The time came and I finally took the plunge. The price point definitely hurt, but the machine performs really well and the size difference between my old 13" MBP and this one is almost not noticed. In fact, I'm still using my sleeves from my 13 because it's that much thinner and in the 15" footprint. Hopefully I can get another 4 years out of this one, but so far it's been great. The only downside to this new footprint and size is the keyboard, it just feels odd, but that's part of the change to get into this form factor.

Bought this after someone stole a package off my porch. This product is great. It alerts me immediately when it detects motion. It also allows me to speak and hear the person who triggered the camera. Or I can sound a very loud alarm.
