It was easy to set up. Super easy to install. After 2 months of use the batteries are still at 75%. I was able to talk to someone at my door when I was hundreds of miles away. Bonus, my children can't come or go without my knowledge. I also capture interesting wildlife shots. I have discovered that there is a raccoon that visits my back door every night. Hummingbirds and bees also like to be captured on video. All kidding aside, it is a great system with clear pictures and sound, easy to install, and worth the peace of mind.

First let me advise that if your product doesn't work out of the box, return it. My first set of cameras wouldn't sync. Netgear Support was useless and after going through their troubleshooting steps they offered to send me refurbished replacements instead of new and then also asked me to be a part of their pilot program for their new firmware.... that was insulting considering I just bought something that isn't working and now they want to send me used equipment and make me test it for them. For the set that works: I was looking for a non-subscription based way to monitor my home from an app and found it with the ARLO Pro. The cameras OR the app may be glitchy at times; there are days with 0 lag and days the system won't respond at all. I'll force close the app on my phone and it tends to respond. The video quality is good and the ability to set schedules for monitoring ensure the system is monitoring if you forget to arm it. I haven't tested the alarm yet but did wish it was adjustable as 100db can cause some hearing damage. Also, if your router (where you plug in the base unit) is not in a location where your neighbors would hear it, it's simply a deterrent. Also, an intruder could unplug it and your entire system would be down. Although, you would hopefully already have an image of them. Overall I like this system, it gives you the ability to check-in periodically or have the system monitor for motion and/or sound. Freaking out the kids by talking through the cameras is a bonus!

Very easy to setup, Picture quality very good. Battery life not bad. Online and mobile features could use some improvements or upgrade.

I love Arlo Pro security camera system. I like that it is wireless and gives me flexibility of placing it where i want it. The picture quality is excellent and the sensors provide instant alert when there is any movement.

We first bought 3 cameras and had them installed. We realized we needed one more and were able to install and sync easily. Our only concern is battery life.

I've been wanting a remote access camera system for the house and this great. The range for the 2 cameras is good enough for me to monitor both sides of a duplex. The motion detection is instant as is the email alert. I like that I can view and control it from the phone app. I found it easy to install and it's worked well so far. I would actually like to add additional cameras when I see a sale. I got the system with 2 cameras on sale for $199. Although not cheap, it's what these systems seem to cost.

(1). Battery life is not as advertized (a few months). I installed it at the night time of Nov 14 and returned on the noon of Nove 18. Less than 3.5 days, ALL 4 batteries are down to 40% - 50% (used 10%-15% per day!). The batteries cannot last for a week; (2). Ghost image at day time (morning from 8:30AM- noon). More than half of the screen is white and any objects passby are white ghost or invisible. The problem occurred on the sunny day every day for 2 of the 4 cameras. I had Night Awl at the same locations before. There are no problems. No sun light directly facing the cameras (the other two with sun light directly facing the caremas are OK); (3). The cameras cannot detect the movement (human or car). Most of the clips with human first appears at the close range (one car distance or 3 meters) not before that range; (4). The camera shut off earlier before the object move away from the 3 meter range or shorter. Most of the recording clips are about 5 seconds (sensor issues); Tech support changed the default to recording to the end of the motion. That dfoes not improve the sensor problem.

I just upgraded my Arlo system to these new cameras. They are awesome! I love the additional features of having two way sound and not having to replace the batteries anymore. They fixed the two flaws with the previous camera set. It's very easy to set up and the free cloud storage is very convenient and doesn't cost anything extra. The picture quality is excellent. I can check in on the house from anywhere and even tell the dog to knock it off if he's doing something he's not supposed to like getting into the trash, lol.

I love this Arlo camera. The battery life on it is top notch. I'm fortunate that where mine is mounted the paint is white, so it blends in, and people rarely see it. I've been able to view the camera evn while out of the country using my phone and the Arlo app. The quality of the picture is great. If I had a negative to say about it, would be that you need to use their plug to charge the camera. Most Apple, Samsung chargers or generic chargers will not charge it.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. It was harder to open the packing than setting it up. My only gripe is I wish that the night vision was better.

Pro: The setup and operation of this device is simple, and I was up and running within a few minutes of opening the box (the device comes fully charged from the factory, hooray!). The camera clarity in daylight and during the night is clear. However, MN temps have been lower than -4F since I've installed the unit (late December 2017), and the outdoor camera does not work most of the time (I have to bring it in to warm up, then put it out, and it's just too cold for that business). Meh: I've just figured out how to stop notifications for movement, which were collecting upward of 30+ times a day in my email box. It was quite annoying, but that issue is solved after reading comments in the Arlo community. Con: Can only view cameras on one device at a time. I wish I'd known to research this before purchase, but that's a lesson learned. For example: if I look at cameras from the iPad, then sign in from android phone or home PC, I am logged out from iPad. Makes it inconvenient for two people to be viewing simultaneously. I have this set-up for an older person who is not tech savvy, whom I wish to monitor while I'm away. I also want them to be able to feel secure by checking their own cameras (hence the outdoor use), but that person is not tech savvy enough to log back into their device. For this reason, I am a little disappointed with the viewing capabilities.

This system does exactly what it says. Installation is a breeze. Clear videos and not a delay of time from when it detects motion for it to start recording. The sound is clear you can hear everything. I've had my system since early March and I'm satisfied. I also bought one add on camera. You get your money's worth out of arlo pro cameras. Also arlo has the app for this the only thing you have to have is Wifi.

These are great cameras. They are easy to install and connect to my wifi. The battery life is excellent. I would buy them again.

I have had the Arlo system for over a year now. Great system easy to use. Battery are great but like all battery systems the more you use the faster the battery drains. The only wish I have is. I wish they would have some type of a schedule option where I can have them turn off during certain times of the day. Like when I let my dogs out in back yard for a few hours during day.

Very easy to set up, user friendly, very clear video. I have nothing negative to say. Best investment I ever made

This is one of the greatest security features all times. I have a recommend this for anyone who wishes to start out with a simple and yet effective security system that they can easily be operated through their phone

love this camera that i bought for black friday its 100% wire free easy to install the camera is very nice and the picture view and video view is beyond awesome love this camera great for security around the house.

This is so simple to use the Notifications can be Aggravating I Suggest using Separate Email I would recommend not adjusting the settings once I did it became to sensitive and where the battery out quick it was perfect before I messed with it I was trying to get longer record time the only down side is it only records for a few seconds when it Detects motion- if you looking for more this is not it the sound is amazing and you can watch live and that’s super cool also the 2 way Communication is amazing Too I could talk to the kids and ask them what are you doing ?

This package is a great deal for the price. Very easy to setup and I like the fact that the rechargeable battieres come fully charged from the factory. Have had this system for about 2 weeks now and am very happy.
