Very impressive. HD quality is great. Would be nice if they gave you more than 5 cameras for free cloud storage. Also, lag time is longer than expected. One camera was defective. Great technology though.

So I researched a bunch of cameras and after taking with the Best Buy employees, I decided to buy this system and then returned it 2 weeks later. I had specific things I wanted and didn't realize until after owning it, those were not available yet. I wanted to use this system as a security system and a baby monitor. It's has a great picture during the day and night, but times out of the live view after 30 minutes. Thus, this is not a good baby monitor unless you turn on the alerts, but then every time my son moves, which is a lot, I get a notification and in order to see what is going on, I have to tap the screen. Also, this is the rechargeable system. Which I thought was great! Not sure on how long the cameras are supposed to last, but the one I used for my son, only lasted 10 days. In order to charge the battery, you have to take the camera down and charge the battery inside the camera. I thought by buying the extra battery and charger, I could just swap out batteries, but you must use a camera to charge it, so that didn't work so well. I hope they change the setup so you you can plug the charger directly into the battery. Netgear does have a baby monitor that is due to release this year (2017), but it is expensive. If I don't find anything that does what I want, I may purchase the 2 camera system and a baby monitor when that comes out.

This system is very easy to set up and the app for it works great. I would have gave five stars but there is no way to install a external siren.

Pros: -great picture quality -super easy installation -battery life is great(if not used constantly) Cons: -motion sensor could be more customizable -magnet mount is flimsy (used double sided tape to secure it better) -"armed" mode is not fully customizable (you can just create another mode and customize it BUT if u used IFTTT then you're stuck with the armed mode)

The camera's work great and initial set-up was easy, but after that it was almost impossible, had to jump from Forum to FAQ's, had to call tech support, first time Clifford was great, but second time person we talked to had no clue and was hard to understand. Even went back to store of purchase and sales rep. was also clueless. Need better and more complete owners manual, already had to do an up-date and owners manual left out lots of information.

There is a lot to setting them up but once you get the hang of it. It was easy. Just follow the step by step directions. Will mount just about anywhere. The batteries last quite awhile between charges.

I purchased these for my home over three months ago. Here is what you need to know: 1) Easy to install (I purchased additional outdoor brackets) 2) The battery is awesome as long as you use standard settings; I changed the setting to have a better picture and even when idol it drained the battery 3) Taking them down and charging them is literally no big deal. I will be buying one more for inside my house to yell at my dog when she is being destructive.

I bought this system so I could view my mountain house while I'm not there. From a 100 miles away I can see when a motion alert pops up on my phone. Usaually deer. I can hear sound I can send out an alarm or talk through the speaker along with viewing a night. The app on the phone allows for many functions and setting which is easy to navigate and install on the phone. Viewing distance in total darkness isn't great but you can zoom in which helps. Overall I'm extremely happy

This is an awesome setup! VERY easy to use and quick to setup. Arlo is coming out with a wired workaround, but it is not out yet, so I had purchased separate v5 charger and 10ft USB 2 mUSB to power the units and it works great. I just like everything to be designed THAT way without buying supplemental parts. Either way, this is a great unit and the audio and video is great!

Great product with excellent quality. I setup this product in an 2 hours from open the package to have them up and running. The quality on the image is perfect. The app is friendly, I love the product

The Arlo system is relatively easy to set up. I really like the wireless cameras, you can place them anywhere you want.The batteries last a month or two depending on activity. I added a Arlo Q to my system to make sure I had 24/7 coverage. The app has been consistent for me. The cons are: The cameras have to be repositioned whenever you recharge the battery. You get quicker with practice. Arlo is pretty proud of their accessories and they are a bit pricey.

Good picture; good motion alert; had to adapt to time lag for alerts. Very easy setup. Was my second choice for outside monitoring because no solar panel available for stand alone charging; can't be climbing on ladders for battery charging & don't have outside power outlet nearby. Using as inside monitor and very pleased with that. Will probably get second camera soon.

I was looking at wired vs. wireless security camera systems available on the market several months ago. Finally I decided on a wireless system due to its convenience (no need to run wires everywhere). Since I heard good comment on Arlo from an existing homeowner so I gave it a try. I bought a single camera system initially and I like it so much I bought a second camera to add to the system. I like the long camera battery life in-between charges and HD resolution.

I’ve been extremely pleased with these cameras so far. Install was simple, setup was easy. The packaging was confusing empty boxes for no reason. But I would highly recommend these to anyone looking.

These cameras have become so useful. The quality is amazing! The access to speak to someone through the cameras as well is amazing! Nightvision looks perfect. Great app too. Many things can be done.

Microphones are great, speakers are horrible. Images are better than Gen 1 Arlos. Rechargeable batteries are great. No red lens filter issues. Good deal all around. Base is pretty loud, can hear it outside on the other camera mics. App is a bit of a mystery, few updates, clunky form. You NEED the positionable mounts.

Setup was a breeze, video quality is great. Battery seems like it wont be a pain at all to charge. Highly recommend

My Arlo Pro system works consistently well. The videos and real time visuals are quite clear. It is so easy to use with a smart phone either at home or miles away. The batteries are running low quicker than I expected which makes it a cumbersome task if mounted on a more permanent type fixture rather than the magnet mount. Overall I'm pleased with the product.

Very easy install Didn't like that it only records for a few seconds should be able ro record 24/7 would be willing ro pay for that service
