The ease of set up was simple, very straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. The battery life is no where near what is advertised. Then again I have it set on "Best Quality" and that tends to drain the battery more. The motion detection can be spotty at times and video imaging can bleed out on some frames of motion but for the most part it does fairly well. For a fully wireless system it does just fine with some firmware updates to come and help some of the issues. Side note: The first unit I received "looked like" it was factory sealed and 3 of the 4 cameras worked fine. The 4th camera looked like it was used or refurbished and didn't work. I returned it to my Best Buy store and when opening a new unit and comparing the 2 sets i'm fairly certain the first set I got was a refurbished set, as in Netgear had re-boxed that first set. Packaging was much different. Best Buy's people did a great job and got me all set up with a new unit.

Overall, I really like the ease of setting up the cameras to the base station (especially being wireless). However, one camera had a software glitch because after several months (outside of the free tech support time frame) the camera would not properly or completely update to the newest software. The camera just froze, would say it is updating but never completed the process. This caused the one camera to not work properly and continually not communicate to the base station leaving me vulnerable in this one area to not capturing images. Had to buy another separate replacement camera to fill the void of this camera and the new camera has been working fine. Again, overall the system is nice and works pretty well, but disappointed in the software issue with the one camera and lack of help from the community support website for this system. Still feel like this is a nice product and would recommend for others.

Cameras work great good clear picture, 7 day cloud free, app could be better but is not bad. Sound quality could be better. Takes video 10 seconds to 60 seconds.adjustable.Batterys last about a month before charging. Using nightly. Live video can be used or turned on from anywhere.

These Arlo cameras are quite expensive but figured you get what you pay for. I like how convenient they are to put wherever you want but at the same time they are only as good as your wifi connection. One of the cameras is by our back door, which isn't that far from our router and still barely gets a signal. I tried to put it at the peak of our house but couldn't get a signal. We haven't had any issues so far where it is at now. The battery on these stay charged for a long time since we usually only turn them on at night. Figuring out how to use them on the app took some time but after watching some videos, the options are quite impressive. I'd like to buy one more to cover all entrances of our house but at $200 a camera I'm hesitant. Overall I am happy with the product but do wish there was another installation option to keep them from getting stolen because that is all I have worried about since we purchased them.

Awesome security system that you can monitor anywhere with internet connection. There are no wires to deal with either! The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to take out the batteries to charge it. It would be cool if they made a more efficient way to charge it.

I love my Arlo videos. Turn them on every night. Thinking about trying other places in home but got them set pretty good now. I love them

The Arlo Pro security cameras are easy to set up and work great. You can control them by a computer or by the Arlo App on your IPhone. Not the best for cold weather use (below 35 Fahrenheit) but wonderful for indoor use.

It's a great wireless system. It has great video quality for 720p and the batteries last a good while. I added the solar panel to one of the cameras because it gets so much traffic on that camera. I highly recommend the solar panel on these.

Easy to install,I have the Four (4) camera unit and had it up and running in about (3) hours start to finish. For the money a great buy!

I had Lorex SD Pro in the past, but frustrated with their product since there is no replacement after 3 yrs. Ring system has flaw that has 5 minutes record interval, Nest cam charge too much for cloud service. Arlo Pro is one of the best surveillance system so far that I have tried. The reason I took one star out is because their rip off and lack of needed accessories such as charging cable & solar panel.

This is surface level video. By that I mean don’t expect to get a clear identification on license plates or faces at any level of distance. Also the talk-back feature is totally in-op and based on threads on Arlos website this is a known issue and has been so for a long time. Set up was easy instillation was also a cinch.

The cameras work great. Get alerts from app and the email. Night vision works great too. 2-way communication takes some getting used to.

I love the system.. however i few this make it good and not great/ok.. 1. The price why in the h#ll is it so expensive when the cameras are only 780p.. 2 the schedule times do not take into account someone who works from home.. i just want to schedule from 8pm to 7am bc i am home during the day, and need protection when the sun goes down.. o and battery life is ok could be better.. other than that great..

great product. it says the rechargeable battery last almost 6 months. that is awesome!
