I regret purchasing these cameras. I started out with the original Arlo cameras (2 pack) and the battery life was terrible. When I moved out of my apartment and into a house, I knew I wanted a security system and since I had already started with Arlos I went with the Pros (4). One plus side is these are rechargeable, so I don’t have to keep purchasing batteries. However, the battery doesn’t seem to last very long before it’s time to charge again. It’s pretty annoying having to constantly hop on ladders and pull down cameras to charge them. You’re suppose to be able keep these pluggged in if you choose, but I prefer not to have cords going down my wall. I did want the outdoor cameras to be plugged in to unlock the zone features I was informed about, however, after researching to find out if the the power cord can be outside, it sounded like keeping the cameras plugged in outdoors would damage the cord. My main issue with these cameras, and the reason I wish I would have just gone with the traditional wired security camera set up, is the network issues. The cameras have to connect to the arlo base which has to be connected to your router. My router can only be set up in my bedroom, and I have WiFi extenders (Velop) to extend the range throughout the house (2700 soft). Because the cameras can only be connected to the base, the ones outside the house barely stay connected. The geofencing also doesn’t work from time to time. I find myself having to go into the app turning geofencing on and off to update the system that I’m either home or away. There is also a lag between when you are notified of motion and when the motion actually happens. Overall, these were fine when I was in my one bedroom apartment, but for a house I would recommend going with something else.

Great picture quality and love the fact that it records a couple days of video feed with no extra costs. Only problem i have sometimes is response time from the app.

My biggest complaint is that I can't get the voice part of it to work. I can hear just fine but can't talk back which it says is a feature. I also wish I had more customization with each cameras and the alerts that I get. some cameras i want alerts every time there is movement others not alerts at all or way less. When I first set it up I had to do a few resets to get it all synced and working. the night vision is pretty good and the battery life is better than I was expecting. Haven't gone through a winter yet so we'll see how that goes. Overall its good, not as amazing as I was hoping, but pretty good.

This was very easy to install system. It works great, and records videos for a week for free. The downside is that it needs internet to work. If for some reason you loose the internet, the system will not work.

I've had my Arlo for a week or so, a 2-camera system. One of the batteries was bad on one of the cameras, but Netgear replaced it promptly and with no hassle. So far, the most exciting thing it does is let me know when the dogs are at the back door and want back in the house, and I hope it stays that way. But it does work, and I'm very satisfied.

Great product, have not had any issues and works as described.

Excellent Product works great we have 3 outdoors and 1 indoors and its been working great so far. Great video quality even night vision is great. Motion sensitivity is adjustable and works well thus far. Glad I made this purchase

Love the Arlo security system. It is a must have for everyone

System was easy to install. Just be sure that you have a fast enough internet connection to run it. Cameras were really easy, since they don't have any wires. Picture quality and phone app are both good. Overall a good system.

I love this system. I was able to set everything myself and it works great. Good value for the money, includes piece of mind, knowing I can see what's happening at my home even when I am not there.

Mostly easy to set up couldn’t get anything to go green or connect with internet. Followed all the instructions and reset s and nothing. Tried for over a couple hours. Left it all plugged in overnite and when I checked it In the morning everything was connected.

Good for basic surveillance if your not ready to go all in for a security system. Holds continual 7 days worth of video for free. Depending on your internet, there usually a 10-15 second lag on real time.

This is our second arlo pro set up .we just love it .720p is Crystal clear and the cameras are easy to set up.and the volume is just as great as the pic. Quality.we have recommended them to several people.

The cameras are amazing and the battery life is fantastic. My only complaint would be that the app is a little tricky when setting up recording rules but i am sure with time they will push updates. Great sound and video quality.

We got this camera to keep an eye on the house while away. It is wireless and easy to set up. Video quality and sound are great. The only downside is it's very sensitive. Bees, moths etc will set off the motion detector at times.

I rely heavily on reviews so I always try to give back so here goes! I'm really happy with this purchase. My wife and I work different shifts and she would often get anxiety about being home alone with the kids at night. So I researched cameras and knew I wanted completely wireless. I'm SO glad that I went with this version because of the recharable batteries. We installed the cameras January 16th and still have 60% battery as of today, February 24th. Honestly, they're great. The only thing I don't like it when it senses motion it sends a push notification to my phone AND an email and I have a million emails from Arlo and I'm not sure if turning off email notifications is something you can do. That's not a huge deal though. The alarm is fantastic too. I love being able to activate it remotely.
