Great, easy to use cameras with easy setup and clear video.

The cameras themselves are great. They provide high quality video and motion detection works well. However, the geofencing feature does not work well. I configure 1 Iphone and 1 Android phone for use with geofencing. The location service on the Android phone works well but the Iphone does not. Arlo often stops recognizing the Iphone and claims that it's status is not available. I have followed all the recommended troubleshooting suggestions without success. The geofencing feature is why I purchased this system and I'm not happy with it.

Arlos are awesome very easy to set up and use! Gives 7 days free recording and saves video clips! They are on the expensive side and would recommend waiting for them to have a sell on them before purchasing.

Bought when it first came out. Worst investment. This should be selling $150 or less. Quality is blurry. I paid a monthly fee to record 24/7, and some parts of the timeline there are blacks in between which you cannot view at all. I get 7 days cloud storage and sometimes I cannot view all 7 days only the current day. I called customer service and its something they cannot fix it or allow me to view it unless I really need it for legal purposes. If you look at my pictures you can see how blurry it is, black timeline, and the dates i cannot view. Look how close I am and even I couldnt tell it's me in the video. I'm hoping I can sell these and get ring cameras because my co worker showed me and the quality is superb.

I wanted a camera system so that I could keep an eye on my property. I understand that a wired system is much cheaper and has the capability of always recording but I didn't want to go through the hassle of running wires across my entire house. I thought the extra price of having a wireless system was worth it so I took the plunge on the Arlo pro 2 system. Is this system perfect? No. Is it worth it? Yes! The battery charge will last anywhere from a month and a half to 2 months before needing a recharge. Notifications are sent to my phone within 1-2 seconds of detecting motion or sounds. If you are familiar with Ring doorbell, then you know about the delay in recording when movement is detected. Overall, I think this is the best wireless camera system out there.

I bought this set because my hard wire camera DVR quit working. I like the very clear video these cameras capture. What I don't like is the lag time between live video and what you see on the monitor. If someone is on your driveway, by the time you will see it, they will probably be gone. Also, sometimes it just doesn't record. My wife can back in the driveway and there is no recording. I like the convenience of wireless but, they are not as dependable as a hard wired system. The free online service for video storage is probably enough for most people, but I subscribe to the 10.00 per month so I can store video for all six cameras and store for 30 days instead of one week. You can not beat a hard, wired system for dependability and live monitoring your property.

These cameras are a great way to start your home security with great picture and sound these cameras work great! The battery life on them is also pretty good once fully charged they last over a month before needing recharging. I fully recommend these to anyone who is on the fence about getting cameras for there home!

The Arlo system is fantastic! I have 8 of the 1stGen, and now 4 of the 2ndGen. The image on the Pro2 is better, but the night vision distance has lessened. Hopefully this is a firmware issue that Netgear will be resolving soon...

Camera is just what we needed. Had a little issue at the start, but it was related to my wi-fi signal from Optimum Altice One. Added an extender and now I never lose signal. Works great both outdoors & indoors.
