To much of a delay to see when people arrive. doesn't stay on long enough.

Great choice for me and DIY camera system at home. Paired with the doorbell and it is coming together nicely. Setup has gone well and so far no concerns!

This is a great security system for ppl who need to monitor their home or business but don’t want the hassle of all the wiring that’s needed with other security systems

After researching various security cameras, the Arlo Pro 2 system provided the best overall value. The 4-camera system allows me to monitor several key areas of my property. The HD video is adequate to identify when people are in places they are not supposed to be. The motion sensitivity can be adjusted, which is beneficial as the bees and wasps really like one of my cameras. Battery life is good. I have had the cameras for over a month and they still show 100%. The app provides quick access to videos and alerts, along with multiple ways to select and delete videos. So far this system is as advertised.

Good quality picture, some lapses in time it takes to see live video.

They are OK I just hate how sensitive they are to wind

I've had these installed for about 3 1/2 weeks. They provide a great picture during daylight hours. Night videos are a little dark if very far from the camera but you can make out what is out there. If they could find a way to keep wasps and dirt dabbers from falling in love with the cameras, there wouldn't be near as many false alarms. It is nice to see what goes on around your house late at night and when you're away. So far I haven't had to charge a camera but the one with the most action will need to be charged soon. Overall I've been well pleased with the ease of setup and usage.

We were having some vandalism issues so I bought two cameras. The picture is crystal clear. They have sound and night vision. After one arrest, the cameras paid for themselves. I didn't buy the adapters so I could plug them in to 115volts. I will soon make that purchase. I am just getting too old to keep climbing a ladder tu pull them down, charge them and put them back.

These cameras are easy to set up and use. Good value when on sale.

Arlo has a fantastic system for home security! camera's are easy to use and only have to charge every 3-4 with moderate use. Siren is loud!

Overall these are great cameras and super easy setup. Very disappointed that you have to pay extra each month for any special features such as package detection, pet, or person and activity zones. I also bought a 2TB external drive so I don't have to pay for ectra cloud space.

Great camera and it was so easy to install. The battery is lasting forever.

If you are need to find a camera for your house, Arlo pro 2 is the good one to use if you don't want to pay monthly service for up to 5 camera.

I've been looking for a complete wireless solution for home video monitoring. There are wi-fi cameras but most require a power supply which can make it difficult to place where desired. Where I wanted to place cameras it was either very difficult to impossible to route cables. The Arlo Pro 2 is a completely wireless solution having Wi-Fi connectivity and rechargable batteries. Because it's completely wireless you can place in almost any location to get optimal viewing to the area you want to monitor. One caveat, if you go completely wireless then you'll need access to the camera so you can take it down and recharge it with the included charger. The Arlo Pro 2 camera is chocked full of features: 1080p which allows for crisp images, nightvision , sound and motion detection, 2 way audio, IP65 certification for outdoor applications, rechargeable batteries, multiple optional mounting methods (using standard threaded camera mount). The cameras are connected via Wi-Fi to the Arlo base unit which acts as a dedicated hub. The base unit connects to the internet via a wired ethernet connection. The base also will accept a USB drive for optional local backup. Another great feature of the base is the siren. You can arm the siren to trigger when there is movement or you can trigger remoteley via the Arlo smartphone app (for iPhone and Android). Heck, I even discovered the camera is even compatible with Amazon Alexa although I haven't linked mine yet! For indoor use the camera has a flat rubber base so it can sit almost anywhere, tabletop, shelf, fireplace mantle, counter, etc. For outdoor use the Arlo Pro 2 comes with a quick-mount orb that fastens to a flat surface with a single screw. The camera attaches to the orb with a magnet that's embedded in the camera. While the orb mounts are okay for most applications I did find that the maximum range of positioning was somewhat limiting. Netgear does offer a fully adjustable articulated mount that will provide greater aiming flexibility but it requires that you screw the camera onto the mount. Setup was easy using the online guide. You do have to create an Arlo cloud account. To get the most out of the system download the smartphone app. The online guide steps you through the process and within minutes your cameras are connected. While viewing and recording is 24/7 you do have the option of scheduling alerts. With the basic free account you can connect up to 5 cameras and video is stored for up to 7 days. You have the option to upgrade your account to accept more cameras and have more days of cloud storage but for most the basic free account will be enough. All in all this is a very flexible and easy to use system. I'm still tinkering with setting so I don't get as many activity notifications on my phone. With dogs in the backyard I am getting a lot of alerts but I'm sure with a tweak of camera aiming and some scheduling adjustments I can reduce those significantly. Got this Expensive Gear for my home, Below are my observations: 1. For more active region the battery drains like hell, typically expect a recharge within 7-10 days. Even though there is solar charging option , that adds extra 50$ odd per camera. Hope it comes standard 2. Night vision is just average . 3. Most serious complaint is, when it is detecting any motion/audio there is a lag before it starts to record the event. most of the time , recordings are empty. Overall doesn't justify such a beefy price tag, As always Best Buy is great with their returns. Thankful to them ! Disappointed with Net gear for the first time ! Hopefully they see it.
