Purchased the Arlo cameras for my husband’s Christmas. He loves seeing all the updates on his phone & the camera works great at night.

Arlo is very easy to use and install. It is a great security camera coming from Arlo. This is my second set.

Average results due to poor WIFI between base and units. Camera good functioning needs hub (base) to be located few feets from it or risk intermittent connection and severe battery drainage (days). Hub needs big improvement (stronger WIFI/+antennas)!

I had 4 arlo pro system i couldnt resist this since it was on sale. It does what its suppose to do . Love their products!!!

First, I have to disclose that I have never installed a home monitoring system before, but I am pretty tech savvy. Between the print instructions and the online step-by-step instructions that pop up once you install the base station, this thing was a piece of cake. It probably took me 10 minutes from start to finish to set up the base station and both cameras. The indoor mounts that come with the kit are easy to install and the magnets used to attach the camera to the mount make it easy to move the camera around or take it off to charge the battery. You can also add several additional cameras to the system as well. I only have the 2 that came with the system currently, but I may add more for whole-home coverage. Adding a camera to the system takes less than a minute. You can watch the camera live, you can set it up to record when it detects motion, or you can set it up to record based on sound detection...or all of the above. You can easily add another user to be able to access the cameras as well. I added my wife and she was up and running in no time. The motion detection detects every little movement my dog makes and records the video to the free cloud storage that comes with the kit. The night vision seems to work great as I have one cam set up in our bedroom where the dog's bed is. With the lights out and almost completely dark, I can still see him well and it still detects his motions. The video quality is great although not crystal clear in poor lighting. The only real con I've found is that you can't charge the batteries unless they are in the camera. Maybe there's an accessory that allows you to charge them separately, but it was not included. This product is amazing in its simplicity and its robust performance. I can't say I priced any other systems so I can't speak to its comparative value, but it seems top notch and does everything it's designed to do. In fact, we're planning on using it as a baby monitor as well. I would definitely recommend this system to a friend or family member. I did receive my Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free security system with 2 HD cameras from NETGEAR as a part of a review and test program.

This is an awesome system for keeping an eye on what's going on at home or while your away from home its easy to use !!

I placed one camera in the front of our house & one in the back. Easy setup & quick installation. The picture quality is good. I dislike that it doesn’t record continuously. There has to be motion detected or you viewing the image. I even inserted a usb drive to give it more memory.

So far i am very happy with this security system. Clear images and keep me with peace of mind while i am away from home

Would recommend this product love it and easy to use. If you need a out door camera this is the best.

I have a total of six cameras set up and for the most part I do like them. However there is a bit of lag time because if it detects something it doesn’t seem to catch the whole thing. Also the battery life is not at all what it says it is.

I set everything up Christmas day and it worked great for about a week. After that I kept having multiple issues with it. The cameras will randomly decide to not detect motion. That's why I bought them to detect motion and notify me what it is. I have to go into the camera settings, shut off the cameras, and then turn them on again to get them to work properly. I also have issues with the app on iOS. Sometimes it will just have a blank screen and it will cause my phone to freeze up. I have until the end of this month to return it which most likely I will do. For the price of the device it should work way better then it does. Would not recommend.

I really like these cameras. They have great video quality and record when there is movement or sound.
