Product more than met my expectations given the reasonable price. Since I am using it for security, clarity is fine and color is good. Battery life great so far. Have had the cameras up for a month and batteries are at 82% and 75%. Very easy to sync (lots of YouTube instructions) and install. The concern is the camera attaches to the bracket by magnet. Therefore you have to place it high enough so that someone cannot just swipe it by pulling it off.

The cameras are clear & great quality. You can zoom in if you need too & shows video for a great distance

I set everything up Christmas day and it worked great for about a week. After that I kept having multiple issues with it. The cameras will randomly decide to not detect motion. That's why I bought them to detect motion and notify me what it is. I have to go into the camera settings, shut off the cameras, and then turn them on again to get them to work properly. I also have issues with the app on iOS. Sometimes it will just have a blank screen and it will cause my phone to freeze up. I have until the end of this month to return it which most likely I will do. For the price of the device it should work way better then it does. Would not recommend.

Installation was easy for this indoor outdoor system. I did purchase additional amounts for outdoor as I didn't like the magnetic mounts for the cameras I place outdoors. Android app experience wasn't too great. I had continuous device app push notifications whenever the app was running.

Amazing picture quality. Combined with a security light there will be no doubt as to what you are seeing.

First, I have to disclose that I have never installed a home monitoring system before, but I am pretty tech savvy. Between the print instructions and the online step-by-step instructions that pop up once you install the base station, this thing was a piece of cake. It probably took me 10 minutes from start to finish to set up the base station and both cameras. The indoor mounts that come with the kit are easy to install and the magnets used to attach the camera to the mount make it easy to move the camera around or take it off to charge the battery. You can also add several additional cameras to the system as well. I only have the 2 that came with the system currently, but I may add more for whole-home coverage. Adding a camera to the system takes less than a minute. You can watch the camera live, you can set it up to record when it detects motion, or you can set it up to record based on sound detection...or all of the above. You can easily add another user to be able to access the cameras as well. I added my wife and she was up and running in no time. The motion detection detects every little movement my dog makes and records the video to the free cloud storage that comes with the kit. The night vision seems to work great as I have one cam set up in our bedroom where the dog's bed is. With the lights out and almost completely dark, I can still see him well and it still detects his motions. The video quality is great although not crystal clear in poor lighting. The only real con I've found is that you can't charge the batteries unless they are in the camera. Maybe there's an accessory that allows you to charge them separately, but it was not included. This product is amazing in its simplicity and its robust performance. I can't say I priced any other systems so I can't speak to its comparative value, but it seems top notch and does everything it's designed to do. In fact, we're planning on using it as a baby monitor as well. I would definitely recommend this system to a friend or family member. I did receive my Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free security system with 2 HD cameras from NETGEAR as a part of a review and test program.

I bought this system for monitoring our residence because no monthly service plans are required. Learning the feature sets and how to use them is key to both product satisfaction and battery life. It's amazingly simple to set up and get it working but the configuration has required some attention.

I had purchased 2 Arlo Pro 2 cameras a few years ago. They worked great! The rechargable batteries lasted a long time and they did the job. They alerted me when needed and were simple to set up and use. I never have a problem writing a good review when I like a product and never have a problem writing a bad one when I feel a product is subpar, but I did just go out and buy more of these cameras as I feel they are worth the expense.

No other camera can beat the ease of this camera no wires needed just have to have Wi-Fi plug it in play

Love these! They work so much better than the original arlo. I just wish they came with a longer charging cord

Excellent security system, works great! Even without 1080p the cameras look good even at night.

Overall very happy with this product, especially the HomeKit support which is a must-have for me. The initial base setup could have been a little better...the base was VERY slow to boot up the first time. The documentation said it should take about a minute, but it actually took closer to five. The documentation was also wrong about the initial camera charges...they DO NOT come fully charged as indicated in the printed material, so charge them before you mount them.

Extremely easy set up and you can have 2 accounts. Price has come down significantly since its intro.

Arlo is the way to go, easy set up and easy to use. Had ours up and running the same day we made our purchase.

Works well. Takes awhile to connect after changing battery. Takes a full 8+ hours to charge.

First and foremost don’t waste your hard earn money in this system. This product is terrible. There is also better systems out their than this for the money. Why? you many ask. First, the battery is garbage it will not last a week in a low traffic area. I’m not sure if it’s a camera issue or if it’s a firmware issue, but it will just all of the sudden record. Due to the battery draining so fast I had to buy super long micro usb to plug into an outdoor outlet. The main reasons why I got this system was because i didn’t want wired cameras. Two, the motion sensitivity is not what they advertise. I had a few kids jump my fence one evening and cameras didn’t record anything. That was with them running across the field of view. That’s only one of several instances where it didn’t record anything when it was suppose to. Also when you have activity zones the camera will not record anything when someone or something walks in into that zone. Three, trying to watch live video footage is a pain. Takes about 45 second to load a live feed. And about 1min to load the recorded feed. You would think Arlo would have fixed all the kinks and corks with this system by now. This is also with having 940mbps internet speed at home. It’s to late to return this product for me, I will mostly likely just use this system indoors. I spent over $1000 for this system and it was a total disappointment. I will end up replace this system for a wired swann system.

Easy to set up, view, record, listen! The ap is on our phones and we can both review the video easily.

Very clear video and no need for monthly fees. Battery life seems very good as well. Still 60% remaining after 3 weeks.
