Won't hold a charge, even on the lowest settings

Not sure why this system got such great reviews. Bought this several months ago, and from the start, the cameras won't hold a charge for more than 7-10 days, even on the lowest settings. We have the microphones and night vision turned off, and have them on the lowest quality video setting and extended battery setting, yet these cameras' batteries die within a week of charging. It's super inconvenient and a huge hassle to get the ladder out once a week to take the cameras down and charge each one individually, which isn't a quick process. Do not buy.
