Freedom of placement anywhere with good picture quality

Easy to use and set up, but for labeling the Arlo Pro 2 as a 1080P camera is far fetched. My cell phone takes better snap shots and video. Over priced at this time.

Easy set up and use. Day videos clear. Not as good at night. Magnetic mounts are poor for outside use. Only came with one screw-in mount. Activity zone only works when plugged into power.

Camera meets all my expectations and I love the wireless.

I'll start off by saying that I was really trying to be impartial to Arlo, especially being a Google and Nest guy. The thing that attracted me to this was the price point when it was on sale for $267 for the 2-pack bundle and the wire free option. I literally spent 4 hours reviewing reviews, comparisons and pro and cons of this vs Nest IQ cam. After unboxing it, and testing it, my suspicions were true. Biggest detractor was the 10-20 second lag in live mode! And upon doing further research in the Arlo community board, apparently a lot of people are regretting this system for that exact issue as well. Not to mention that this camera does not offer 24/7 recording like Nest, which I get is a cloud based subscription service, but for me, seeing 24/7 recording feature was big. The positive, it's small unit but that's overshadowed by the router type base you have to connect to your router, which was a con. Video quality was decent, but let's be real here. Nobody will ever use up there entires WiFi bandwidth to ever stream in 1080p which could easily get you in trouble with your internet provider, if you have a middle tier service plan. Needless to say, once figuring out that the feed had such a long lag and that Arlo has 4 versions of this camera, I quickly packed it up and returned it. Something to consider when comparing is the price, because as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. So for me, buying the Nest IQ cam was worth the $200 extra dollars, knowing that I don't have to worry about the camera not recording or keeping an eye out for me outside, while I'm sleeping. And if you want something solid, you're going to have to spend a little bit more!

They have a good quality but sometimes you can’t see enough

This is great camera system if you don’t want to run wires. Have had no issues after a months use. Cameras that are in heavy traffic areas with motion detection enabled will need more frequent charging. Range from the base station has not been an issue covering all four corners of a larger split level home.

I love this Arlo and I am happy with my decision to buy here.

Actually bought the PRO 3 - however,either is a good 'buy' as they do that which you want from a security camera system. The only drawback, as I see it, is that Arlo wants you to 'buy into' their online video system. It is not a bad price and I will get that when my 3 months free time is up.

Three weeks going still all above 50% battery awesome qaulity

we should at least one year full free access for this expensive product. and if it could use the local network as a bridge to reach the base station, that will make it the best cctv cam ever

The Arlo plus is a great camera for those wanting simplicity.

It’s a complicated system, of course there will be some glitches, be patient and share your experience with your neighbors who have the system to resolve the problems, so it’s working well.

Good cameras and system will recommend to everyone
