The arlo Pro is not the best camera. Sometimes it keeps log out and the color doesn’t seems like 1080p. And also for the speaker you have to keep it holding when you want to talk and then when the person responded kind a delayed response.

Bought these for security and comfort. Lots of crime around. So bought a few cameras and set up internet and router.

I put up these two cameras outside for security. The picture and sound quality is great. Would recommend.

Needed to purchase and learn how to use solar panels for these cameras. Outdoors cameras do not work when below freezing.

Having researched security cameras for my home, we wanted to try Arlo Pro 2, since it is the most flexible and provided every feature needed for customizing its operation. We were not disappointed. Setting up the cameras was a snap, guided by the Arlo app. It connected flawlessly in only 3 steps. In addition to being able to watch over my home in the case of a break-in, we now worry much less about packages delivered to my doorstep when I’m not home- what peace of mind! And because it will become part of a larger security set-up in my home, the "If This Then That" capability integrates with smart locks and lights to create an integrated system. The camera itself is compact enough to fit anywhere. Because it is both weatherproof and wireless we were able to extend our monitoring to outside right away, to watch the house. Our house is over 4000 sq feet, and the cameras communicate with the hub without problems We love the rechargeable battery, a feature many cameras do not have. I haven’t had it long enough to test how long it works, but if it’s anywhere near the advertised six-months, it will be more than enough. The recordings are clear and have great detail that you can see by zooming in. It provides clear and sharp video; the 180 resolution is probably more than we need. It has an amazing new feature that effectively backs up time and shows a few seconds before the motion triggers the recording. Because my family has a changing schedule, the flexibility in scheduling armed and disarmed status is particularly handy- we don’t want to record the interior when we’re home. We still are discovering the many features offered by the Arlo Pro2, such as the ability to talk through the system, and control the loud alarm. Compared to a monitored alarm, it would pay for itself quickly. I received the Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free Security System with 2 HD Cameras from NETGEAR as part of a review and test program, and the above comments are based on my actual experience after unboxing, setting up and using. At this point, this new version is “state of the art” and must-have for a modern smart home.

I had to tweak the settings to lower the reecording quality to make the batteries last longer but once I did I love them!

Too expensive for the quality. The products lag a few secs and the battery life drains super fast. Sometimes it also lags in the viewing live options and seems to always be offline.

Have not liked these since we purchased them but was out of town past return date. These are junk and would never buy them again. They don’t pick up a huge UPS 10ft ft the cameras.

The installation of the cameras was very easy , downloading the app was also a breeze. A very happy consumer

We purchased these for our new home. It us great having them around the outside of the house. They work well.

The 2-Way audio is defected and not working. It’s difficult to find customer service contact info (email or phone) for Arlo. The support pretty much forces you to look through the support questions or chat. It’s rediculous. Good news, hence an extra star. The camera set up was easy. The quantity is OK. The ease of moving the cameras is great. The battery last for 2weeks in high traffic areas so I would suggest to buy the recharging thingy. It’s absolutely a plus, and why I settled on Arlo, that they have free 7 day cloud storage.

This system is a good value for the price. I have had it for just over a month and it has worked just as expected.

Video is amazing as well as the voice recording! Alerts can be annoying since we have a lot of wildlife. Love the product
