Has problems detecting objects farther away- you also have to click each camera separetly to go live.

I recently received my Arlo Pro 2 Camera System and was really excited to give it a try. My expectations were certainly met from the initial unboxing, setup and into operation and usage. The Arlo Pro 2 should be on many a Christmas list as it’s a great option for video home security…and a dog watcher! Packaging - The packaging is well done and protects the camera, base unit and associated mounts, etc. It also displays the camera unit well for consumers interested in what the camera looks like in person…as you can see through the packaging. Unboxing – First thing I noticed was the quality and style of the cameras, mounts and base unit. They are white and black and very sleek/low profile and definitely look great mounted inside and out. Setup and Operation - The Arlo Pro 2 system delivers what it promises right out of the box. The batteries were pretty much completely charged in the box. I downloaded the Arlo app and used the easy set up. Follow the instructions as provided, and your cameras can be up and running in less than 10 minutes. The 1080p cameras are wireless, and can be wired as well - option is available in the package. Next, just power up the base, plug the base into your router, and sync the cameras. You will need to setup an account with Netgear also. Pros: - 1080p video quality - Full wireless usage (and wired if desired for additional functions) - Indoor and outdoor usage - 2-way audio – I can keep an eye and ear on my dog! - Free cloud storage - Siren system Cons: - Need to wire the camera for some of the motion sensor options - Siren is on base unit, might be more effective if on the camera unit Overall I would recommend the Arlo Pro 2 1080p 2 camera system to anyone looking for an affordable home security system and a great way to interact with your pet!
