Love the camera system, and love how it’s wireless and you don’t have to pay a monthly fee.

Best part about camera is that you don’t have a power source to plug into. So it is easily movable.

Love these cameras, upgraded from original models.

First off I would not recommend Arlo to anyone. You would think it’s a great brand and it’s sold everywhere: Costco, Best Buy, target... The build quality is okay. I like universal mount and removable battery. But when you actually start using them your experience is a nightmare. It started from the setup. In order to mount the camera I was connected to it and setting to get the right angle of view but the connection keep dropping. Then I noticed 3-5 secs delay in the video transmitting. This is crazy. My ring camera has a delay of 0.5 secs tops. Comparing them is not even the came. 1080p resolution is showing me big pixels in the app until 5 secs later is finally showing normal pic quality. After all of that I was trying to connect to the camera and it takes minutes until you get an connection error. You either have to wait 5-10 mins until you reconnect or reboot the camera by removing the battery. The plug on the back of the camera for the USB port is keep getting out itself (what?). How can I install this camera outside there will be no waterproof option with port always open. Both my cameras and base were up to date with the latest FW. 2 way talk is a nightmare. You cannot hear on the other side until you release a button. It’s not like a phone call it’s more like a radio talk. Press a button and you can talk, release - you hear. Does not work! Ring is much better. App experience is not great either with all of the connection issues and UI impede ration for the full screen view when the rotation does not exit full screen and white interface is almost invisible while using it.

The external sound from the camera is very low at it's maximum adjustments. The cameras are very sharp. The motion is not always picked up by the cameras, but most of the time it is caught.

Good system that runs on battery or constant power. Works wirelessly which is awesome.
