Arlo cameras are very clear & no extra monthly fee as they work off of Wi-Fi.

I returned this one and got the original arlo pro set because it was cheaper and the only thing that I liked about the arlo pro 2 couldn't be used unless the camera was plugged in so not truly wireless

4 cameras allow good coverage and Arlo app to view cameras is easy to use.

They are easy to assemble but they need to be charge constantly that is very inconveniently cause you have to take down and put back up all the time.

So I feel obligated to start at the beginning and that means setting this security system up. It took less than 2 hours from cracking open the seal of the box to having the entire system up and running. Since everything is wireless and comes already charged right out of the box, setup for this thing is a breeze. I really need to highlight this because I think the wireless capability is really what makes this thing awesome. I didn't have to run cables all through my house to all the cameras or even find a way to power them via an outlet since they have rechargeable batteries. To me, this really sets the Arlo Pro 2 above any of the competition. I don't know how long the batteries will last yet but from what I can gather online it's months so recharging often won't be a problem. Now that I've highlighted how easy this thing is to setup (once again, super easy guys, for real) Let's talk about some of the other things that I liked about the camera. The 1080p picture quality is more than enough for me to be able to see things in the image clearly so that's a plus. The night vision is also quite good. I really like the 7 days of free cloud backup in case I really have to go back a few days to find something I know that I can. It has 2 way audio, I'm not sure how much I'll honestly use this but I know there will be an occasion that I will think "Hey that was handy". Lastly I appreciate the flexibility of adding cameras if I ever needs too. I have the 2 camera system but if I need to add a third then I can easily buy an individual camera to add into the system.

Arlo Pro 2 seems to be best available wireless for home.

Thieve are great Camaras for a beginning security system. I would recommend to a friend.

These are decent cameras however oftentimes these lose connection with WiFi. They are a good alternative to a wired system though. Decent video quality.
