Easy to use set geographical location sets camera when I’m away from home

TL;DR The first camera stopped working for a few days then inexplicably started working again. Changing or upgrading your subscription can or possibly will result in the loss of your stored data. We had a single camera premier account and I upgraded it to CVR (continuous video recording) but reverted back to single camera premier because I'd need to run power. It worked great for a few weeks. After that, the single camera would intermittently, inexplicably power off, un-pair, drop offline. Suddenly, it began working again and I don't know why. I opened a support ticket but never got a response. Last night I added the 4 new cameras, upgraded my account to the multi-camera premier plan. When I went to look back at my August recordings, everything from over 7 days ago IS GONE. In particular 2 videos I needed for an ongoing legal matter. I contacted Arlo customer service directly, and Arlo refuses to acknowledge the error on their end and refuse to restore my videos without a Police Order. With the camera inexplicably malfunctioning and Arlo's ridiculous procedure in place for restoring lost videos (that they lost, not me) I will be installing a different camera system and returning these. My house surveillance is too critical and sensitive for Arlo's unreliability and I'm absolutely LIVID with them. I would have loved to paste the chat conversation with tech support, but apparently they do not email the chat transcripts to you.

I Bought These Cameras Because Of The Wireless Convenience. However When You Use These Cameras Without Power Wires You Cannot Set And Adjust Motion Zones Which Causes The Batteries To Die Very Quickly In My Case My Battery Only Lasted About 36 Hours. I Have Since Returned These Cameras And Went With The Blink Camera System And I Couldn't Be Happier Because With Blink I Am At 2 Months And Counting So Far Without Battery Change.

Good battery life. Using on Netgear Nighthawk 1100 wi-fi hot spot. Not the picture quantity I was hoping for. Connects to cameras and internet well. Just don’t power off base station.
