I already have the Arlo Pro. I recently purchased an Arlo Pro 2 camera to try it. The picture is much clearer. It is sad that I would have to upgrade my plan to a paid plan to take advantage of the other features. I would say that I enjoy the enhanced resolution enough to still make it worth getting.

Reliable, excellent battery life, easy to set up. Able to attached multiple cameras to a single base station and can have multiple base stations at different sites on single account. App is now stable and there has been good support and many updates since launch.

I owned a 6 camera Pro system before upgrading to the Pro 2. The Pro 2 has better daytime video quality but I feel it is too compressed and could be of better quality. There are, however, larger issues which hopefully are software/firmware bugs, and not a design/hardware issue: - Cameras will randomly go offline. When offline, they drain the battery quickly and the only way to bring them back online is to remove the battery and reinsert it. This gets old quickly when ladders are involved - The night-time quality is abysmal compared to the Pro 1 cameras - The microphone volume/gain is only about 25% or less of the volume of the Pro 1 Netgear should address these issues ASAP. I am researching returning these and going with a Nest system instead.

For a wireless system , it has been working great. The batteries need to be charged every couple of weeks. I can reach my cams with a step stool. So its not a big deal. I had one camera go bad, Carlo replaced it. Picture quality good be better.

Despite other reviews, had no problem adding all 6 cameras to Basic Free account. When creating account and detecting my base station it automatically knew it was the 6 camera kit and allowed all 6 to be sync'd. Had a little problem with the app on my iPhone X when i turned on TouchID. App wouldn't open after it had been opened the first time and would try to reopen it. Would be fine when I would delete the app and reinstall but again only for that first time in it. Turned off TouchID and haven't had the problem since. Cameras seem solid. Set up my own armed mode since we have animals in the house and don't want them to set off the cameras via motion all the time. The cameras outdoors should pick up and alert us if anyone is approaching anyway. App was pretty straight forward in setting up the new mode. Can adjust motion and audio sensitivity for each camera individually.

The app is modern and easy to navigate. Installation was super easy. The magnet is powerful and holds the camera in place despite heavy winds. Syncing the cameras to the base was a breeze. Camera captures motion and sound and begins recording immediately, which is great! Here is the problem, this is a monitor system and not an alarm system, I feel hostage to my cell phone and apple watch with fear that I will miss alerts should someone break into my property. The camera will capture everything, however, the alarm will not sound unless I activate it. I feel there should be a security mode that triggers a siren automatically. This is my only negative remark. On another note, hello NETGEAR, you failed to consider that some clients like me would like "both" cameras hardwired to the A/C at the same time. Why didn't you include two cables?? 2 cameras should equal 2 cables! Makes sense, right?

Have had these for a little over a month now. When I first got them I had an issue with one of the cameras locking up and draining the battery. It is has not had this issue for 2+ weeks and they continue to function as intended.

I just bought the Arlo pro 2 about four days ago and was extremely easy and quick to set up and has worked pretty flawlessly so far. I can only hope it continues to work without problems and will modify review if it doesn't.

These Cameras have been a problem ever since I got them.(4 camera system) they work ok when they are online. First problem was the cameras went offline for about 10 days. Then they came back online. Next problem is, many features only work while plugged into an electrical outlet which defeats the purpose of the WIRELESSness!!! Third and final straw is the problem of charging. depending on where you have the cameras and how many videos they shoot will determine the life of the battery. My cameras shoot about 200-400 videos daily each making the batteries last about 4weeks... (videos of people walking by... sometimes cars driving by). You can set the sensitivity levels on the camera but they MUST be plugged into an outlet for that feature to work. So I plugged them in (after purchasing a separate power cord 20' long). So the cameras worked fine for a while until its time to charge them... Thats when the problems started. Charge fine the 1st time, won't charge the 2nd time trying. 1 camera will charge but the others won't. Had to switch chargers, batteries, and cameras multiple times to get a combination that works. This camera will charge with that charger but not that battery. That battery will work with this camera but won't charge with that charger. You get the picture...! VERY VERY FRUSTRATING...! Spend $800 on cameras ya kinda expect them ta work! I would return these cameras today but I had them too long (3months) so I'm stuck with them but I don't have to use them... Im packing them up and putting them in the basement to collect dust and buying a hard wired system!!! At least down there they won't frustrate me any more.

I love these cameras. We hang them outside and inside our house. We get to watch our dogs when we aren't home. I really am happy with this purchase. The picture if very clear, and haven't had any issues with these at all except the sound isn't very clear when you use the microphone.

I purchased a set of 6 arlo pro wireless cameras overall I am pleased with the product. One exception I feel the back that hold the battery could be more sturdy it overall I would recommend the product.

I like that these offer free cloud storage from Arlo.

I normally don't write reviews but these cameras are just too amazing not to. I could have bought 12 of these cameras for the amount of money I have wasted on DVR based systems. I have spent weeks trying to figure out the best cameras on the market today and the Arlo Pro 2 models are by far the best! They are pricey but worth every dollar! The ease of setup with the base and cameras was fast and simple. Not to mention that you don't have to pay for storage of the video clips that you get every time motion is detected by each camera. It's stored on the site for 7 days and then it starts recording over the oldest clip. It's all organized for you by date and time with perfect thumbnails...you don't have to setup anything. If you have ever dealt with DVR based systems you know how complicated it is to find a video clip...much less save it! You can watch them anytime...and you can copy, save and send the clips with ease!! You will get an alert on your phone and via email every time motion is detected. Make sure you have decent wifi and you're good to go. I have all wireless cameras and two of them are more than 150' away from the base on the other side of my house and the connections are flawless! Battery life is just amazing! Buy these cameras and any Arlo product you want because you will not be disappointed!! Arlo for life...or at least when I can afford to buy more. Mitchel

I had my reservations, battery life and wireless distance, but these cameras exeeded my expectations. They are a little pricey, but you pay for what you get!

Overall its an OK system. At times, the cameras will loose signal. When it works its great. I like the 7 day rolling video storage. I just download the video on my computer when needed. Here is the biggest problem if used outside someone at steal the camera if not bolted down.

I bought the original arlo and was okay with it. I juggled multiple camera options—but the New & improved ARLO PRO2 is AMAZING!! Worth it

This is the best camera out there. Free storage, easy installation, amazing capabilities, you can't go wrong. Much better than nest!!
