    Salesman said batteries should last about 10-11 months. Didn't make it 30 days. So I charged them and it would never show them charged. Contacted Arlo (you will need a Computer Programming degree to actually find their #.) And I've gotten the complete run around. These are not people to do Business with. Beware and stear clear. I'm about to get my 3rd replacement part in 3 weeks.

    I have been robbed twice while having these cameras and both nights the cameras DID NOT RECORD A THING!!! One of the cameras was pointed directly at my car and yet didn’t record one second of someone breaking in my car and stealing my property!! I’m furious because this is not the first time these stupid cameras didn’t record for the reason we purchased them for!! The Sherriffs taking a report agreed complete waist of money!

    Software support is subpar

    Look at reviews that are years old with the same issues. Software bugs! Little to no customer support in the way of real fixes. Works good for a while then no recordings, no alerts, not consistent enough for a security camera. I bought the extended warranty and if possible this headache system is being returned! Go to an Arlo thread chat, hundreds complaining for YEARS about the SAME issues. Bye Arlo

    I'm really disappointed in this product especially after all the other reviews. I'm tired of trying to get things to work that shouldn't be that difficult. I can not get geofencing to work nor the local usb storage. Arlo will not format the local USB storage no matter the type or size of the storage.

    Arlo Netgear Disconnect

    Purchased 6 camera system in July. Setup was OK. Customer support 0. Finally got system working. Now comes November. Netgear has spun off Arlo to it's own company. Arlo does system update (October). Now camera's do not work as they did. Customer support 0. When I finally got it running correctly I was happy. Now 4 months later it's turned to junk. $1000.00 wasted. Looking for a new system. Anybody have a suggestion?

    It's not a security product, but a promotion to sell subscriptions. Marketing literature doesn't indicate that cloud storage of your video is MANDATORY. 1. This creates another hackable access point into your network. 2. Video & audio is available by subpoena. 3. Local storage is offered, but you have to take it off-line to view.

    Arlo sucks. Doesn’t pick up on things, not even a month of use and battery is already dead. Half of the time stuck on night mode when it isn’t night... takes forever to connect to live mode. Someone would have forsure gotten into my house if they tried and I wouldn’t have known bc ARLO DOESNT PICK IT UP WHEN ITS IN VIEW. I am returning and buying ring.

    THE CAMERAS DO NOT WORK WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW 45 DEGREES. CUSTOMER SUPPORT DOES NOT HELP THEY REPEAT THEMSELVES. COMPANY WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS. THEIR FACEBOOK TEAM SAYS BE PATIENT NOW AT 9 DAYS WAITING TO HEAR. ON THE TICKET OVER 4 WEEKS!!! DO NOT BUY

    We’ve purchased 2 cameras and paid for the service. The recording of actual crime literally does not happen. We have 2 cameras facing the same area and neither one caught it. The clips are so short it cuts off before the crime happens. Our nest cameras are the only reliable source.

    My microphone doesn't work.. was on the phone for 30 min. Told customer service Arlo to call right back and I'll answer the phone call on my computer since they needed my cellphone free... never called back. Really!? Save your $ and time! I will be returning tom!

    I bought these to catch thief stealing my Confederate flag. I had the flag tie strap to a flag pole. It has to take the thief more than 5 minutes to get it off. The camera never activated. When I went out to check on it, it activated on me. Piece of crap system. 400, plus 150 for extra camera down the toilet.

    I’m really sorry to give a bad review of this product. Heard so many good things about it. Even with the Amazon bird houses water gets in the cameras. One camera will not take a charge and keeps giving a fault notice. Very sorry but I’m going to have to return this product. Do not expose them to rain as I did.

    Dont waste your money this is absolutely garbage. System is not live voice to voice does not work ever, they take forever to connect they have a delay by the time you look to see who is stealing from you you, they are all ready at home safe counting what they stole from you.

    Don't buy this if you plan to use geofencing

    Geofencing turns the cameras on/off when your phone leaves/enters the house. Netgear has admitted there is defect with geofencing , defect has existed for a couple of months and have no date as to when it will be fixed.

    I got the 2-camera set. One camera was DOA right from the box! The message was to replace the battery, not recharge it. I expected MUCH more from a $425 system!

    The speaker stopped working on my 5 cameras like 8 months ago and there does not seem to be a fix coming anytime soon. This is an issue with both the old and newer versions of Arlo Pro, GOOGLE IT, it a huge issue.
