We like these cameras and started with the pro. Then we added another property and more cameras with the Arlo pro 2. More money but it is hard to tell the difference in quality. These are quite expensive cameras maybe cheapen the price by $100 per camera and it would make more sense to do more and use your monthly services. More clear quality is also recommended.

Cameras are 1080p video is clear. Had to buy additional outside mounts for cameras @ $20 a piece so yeah that should have been included for what it cost for these cameras....Not Best Buy's fault Arlo's. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. Overall pleased with performance of cameras. Mounting was straightforward and I had all 4 cameras mounted and up and running in a couple of hours.

So easy to set up and I do mean easy. Yeah you have to charge them but that’s easy too. I’ve had them installed outside and they work great. Great video and audio.

I love this camera system. Works great and easy setup. So far still on the first charge and still 68% battery life on my front door which gets a lot of traffic.

Installed these to check in on my mother in law and caretaker when we were away or at work. Peace of mind to be able to see whats going on and we could speak to her and hear her with these also. Very reliable base unit. Rarely a problem connecting. Usually only when base unit auto updates and then it's offline only a few minutes. I also installed one on front of house to watch over the cars and street and back of house to watch door and windows. Records 20 seconds or so when there is movement and can easily be reviewed on phone app or computer.

Works great, easy to use. Only problem is 3 weeks after we bought ours, Best Buy put it on sale for $200 cheaper than what we paid for it at their store.

I purchased Arlo Pro 2 after reading reviews and ratings for weeks with hopes that this security device would be just as good as what I had been reading. Within the first week of installing the camera one of the cameras went offline and I had to get in contact with customer service because troubling shooting was just not working. No live view on Apple Watch, you only receive notifications. I’m constantly having to refresh the settings just so the cameras can record because it stops at any time until you notice your not receiving notifications. Pros: Easy setup, Speaker/microphone built in Good quality picture during day time Cons: No time stamp on recordings Not so good in lighting at night because it messes with the camera recording

    Disappointed for several reasons

    1. Battery life is terrible. If the camera is facing oncoming traffic good luck, you will be recharging it every other day. There are settings you can play with to reduce the quality of the video and the sensitivity but whats the point of the cameras if you cant capture decent video on them? 2. They claim the video is 1080 HD. Far from it. I have it set to the best quality video and cant even Xoom in 1x without it pixalating 3. To try to deal with the battery life issue on all six of my cameras I decided to purchase the solar panel accessory they sell at $79 each. Yes thats $79 more dollars per camera to not have to constantly keep recharging the batteries. It works to an extent but its not flawless. When you have too much movement or a cloudy day they batteries will start to drain. The solar panels are not designed to charge the batteries just trickle charge them meaning maintain a charge so a cloudy day will mean at some point having to pull the battery out and recharge it. 4. Range of the base station. Not that great and there is no way to extend it either. The Arlo website states you can get a range extender but thats misleading because the range extender just allows you to move the Arlo base unit further away from your modem which it has to be connected to via ethernet cable to move it to a better location where it hopefully will reach all cameras with a stronger signal. It doesn't not however extend the range of the base so if you have a large home it will be an issue. My home is fairly small but I am experiencing an issue with it regardless. The more walls the signal has to go through the worst it is. 5. Price. So my $1300 six camera Arlo Pro 2 set ended up costing almost $2000 after the accessories. Wireless and easy to install yes, but plenty of headaches to deal with after for a hefty price tag. Would I recommend it? No....

Wow, I setup 4 cameras in less than 10 minutes. They have not lost connection and are performing perfectly. Unlike a different brand where I nothing but trouble.

I bought this to cover our house while we are at work, and they work surprisingly well. Pretty good images, even at night-- as long as the object is within about 20 to 25 feet. Batteries last up to 2 months, but usually less, depending on how often they are motion tripped. I bought the 4 pack, which was a good deal, as buying one or two cameras is kind of pricey per unit.

The quality of the cameras in the day is great. The night vision has room for improvement. The audio is excellent. There is a slight lag on the live feed, about 2 seconds and the 2way talk is garbage. And the biggest downside is that the videos are saved to the cloud for only 7 days unless you pay for there monthly subscription.

You will need to charge the battery at least twice every week. When you are charging it, you wouldn't even be able to use the Arlo unless you purchase multiple batteries. There is also an alternative option where you buy a cable and have it plugged in 24/7. Besides a terrible battery life, you have very limited access to your camera's history. You are not able to play back every second of footage. The sensitivity does not record motion correctly, it skips out the major parts. It either captures after or before a major event and just stops recording. It can not capture events on time. You will need to purchase their monthly subscription to have the full Arlo experience and it is expensive. Do your research before purchasing a wireless security camera.

Bought this to replace another set of cameras. Overall it was really easy to set up and sync both the cameras and base. No issues encountered. Battery life has been good despite being in a heavy traffic area. Display quality is awesome. Only drawback is the mounting bracket. Wish it could be better design to prevent camera theft. Other than that it is a great product.

The sensitivity of the camera can not be set so cat , birds and squirrel do not set them off all the time. The battery is ok if the animals are not setting it off all the time . Tried using a solar panel , but it does not seem to charge it to well if the animal get setting it off.

These cameras are easy to set up and use. Integration with Alexa was a bit challenging but once I disabled the skill in Alexa and then enabled it again I was able to get the cameras linked. You can have Alexa notify you when there is movement on one of the cameras and you can also set up a link with Fire TV to display images on a television.

Bought these cameras because LorexEcoStratus no longer supports their app and i have been unable to view my cameras when not at home. This is the perfect addition I can now watch from a distance while still enjoying the lorex dvr. Setup was a breeze and the batteries last a long time before needing a recharge. Night vision is really clear.
