I bought these for my home to watch my epileptic dog. I love the app. It’s easy to use and I can talk to people through the app and camera while I’m away. It records all motion or audio if you choose. So if my dog has a seizure I have the video of it for the vet to review. I bought separate cords so they don’t have to be wireless because the battery does tend to not last as long as I would have liked. The battery drains based on how much activity it picks up. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will buy more Arlo cameras for my backyard in the future.

I would have given it a 5 but there is a slight delay after a motion is detected and the video recording. If you have a canera pointed at the door you dont see the door opening and someone walking in. But you do get clear pictures after that person is inside. I have 4 cameras to catch activity at all accesses of my home.

Great setup and good quality camera system. Takes very little time to install. Setup and the app are easy to use and powerful.

This works great for my needs. The picture quality is very good and you have alot of options in the settings. A word of warning...the alarm comes from the base, not the camera. I set it off thinking it would be outside on the camera but it came from the base that I was sitting beside inside the house. It is very effective, but please keep in mind any animals you may have in the house as it is extremely loud as per the warning they give you before you set it off. I will be adding more cameras in the future.

I needed a camera to monitor outside activity. Arlo Pro 2 has excellent picture quality, was easy to install, downloads were simple and easy to use.

Arlo just updated the App and has made this system Excellent. I installed my personal system and one for my father. Both took only an hour to get up and running. He is 86 years old and was running the App in a few minutes. Hardest part is where to place the cameras and at what height and angle. If you place the camera too high you lose the face of a person. I think you really need to test where you are going to place the camera before mounting it. I highly recommend wiring it to an outlet if at all possible.

This product works great. It was easy to set up following the directions. This product does what it is supposed to do.

This system is wireless, however you will need to recharge the batteries. Depending on how much traffic your camera records, you might have to recharge them once a week, to once a month. Also if you want to set up a Geo grid fence to activate your cameras, you will need to have them wired 100% of the time or it does not work.

Cameras where easy to set up. The only downfall is that the cameras battery which is wireless and rechargeable don’t last long. So my alternative solution was to buy on amazon extended charging wire and plug into an outlet directly. Now no issues cameras are on 24/7. Also make sure you have strong WiFi signal.

The 1080P is a great improvement over previous models. Quality and clarity are great, easy to set up and maintain. No add ons or extras needed.

This is the best investment ever. I have a piece of mind knowing that I can look and see my home inside and outside. I can talk and and hear the other party. i am alerted when there is a motion so I have a piece of mind when I’m sleeping or away from home. There is a few second delay but it works for me. I love these cameras. What’s also great is that I bought warranty. I was having issues with one of the cameras and Best Buy gave me a new camera with no issues. I’m very happy with my Arlo Pro 2 cameras

So, i love these Arlo cameras. Downside is the 24 hour recording issue. Unless you pay for it you can’t get 24hr recordings. Kinda messed up some of the reason we purchased. However, they work well and i even busted the neighbors kid ringing my dang doorbell at 1:30am. Needless to say that kid got in deep trouble when dad saw my camera footage.

I bought these cameras to monitor my house while I'm away. I love the picture quality and the app is user friendly. The only reason i can't give this 5 stars is because I had to buy 3 additional outdoor mounts to secure the cameras. I did not trust the magnetic mounts that came with the system. Whole set up took 30 minutes.

It was easy to set up the cameras I wanted to use. The one problem I found was it seems that the camera do not seem to like cold weather. It works down to about freezing. It might just me the distance AND cold the causes the problem.

This camera was easy to install and setup. Being wireless was nice but comes at a cost to battery life, which doesn't last as long as stated. The sensitivity was too much even after turing down shadow from sunlight was setting off.

Works great easy setup but batteries don’t last very long

The cameras have been up for a week now and our setup hasn't failed yet. The cameras record in 1080p with crisp, clear video and the ability to zoom in without too much loss in resolution. The night vision works, but we've noticed that it works better when there is a source of light near the camera, like a porch light. The Arlo mobile app is easy to use and user-friendly. Setting up the system was simple and we were able to name our individual items and the system itself. I'd recommend encrypting your wireless network before hooking up the system, though, because it does need an active internet connection to run. The free version of the app allows us to view, save, edit, and send the videos that our cameras record and stores up to seven days worth of footage. The app comes with the option of purchasing a subscription that includes the ability to dial e911 in case of break-ins or emergencies. It also allows for monitoring of the system and the ability to 'dial a friend' at a pre-programmed number in case of emergency. All in all, the system has performed to my expectations. I'm pleased with the purchase and the system's ability to accommodate all of Arlos' current range of products.

sad I had to return it Not much to say but before the return I did turn it on did all the set up with no issue at all and it was amazing.
